We are working with the Royal College of GP's to review patient access to services, capacity within the practice and demand for appointments and other healthcare needs.

We are currently looking at ways we can improve and we are open to suggestions you may have as to ways that you feel we could potentially improve our access. Please feel free to get in touch.

The programme of improvement is running up until the end of January 2026.

Our test results for our friends and family test in June are in!

The cancer bus tour is back in and this month. They be visiting six locations across the region, where you’ll have opportunity to speak to staff from different organisations, including the NHS, Healthwatch Birmingham, Healthwatch Solihull, Breast Cancer Now, and Aquarius Charity.
If you're interested in free health checks, learning about support available for you, and what to do if you spot the signs of cancer, come join them.

📍 We have been notified of a local measles outbreak. Measles is a highly contagious illness that can lead to serious complications, particularly in young children.

Children who are not vaccinated with the MMR vaccine are at increase risk of catching and spreading disease.

Please ensure your child is up to date with their MMR vaccination. If you child has missed a dose or is not vaccinated, contact practice as soon as possible to arrange an appointment.

Solihull Locality Hub 🌟

You may notice that you have been offered this service already by us. We have found it to be very successful and extremely helpful to both our patients and the surgery.

Please read below to find out more.

The Solihull Locality Hub provides additional support and capacity for patients in Solihull which has been essential during the winter period when respiratory illnesses are much more prevalent. At the locality hub patients are invited via their GP and other healthcare professionals for a range of needs including:

• Respiratory Long Term Condition Review: Supporting patients with respiratory conditions to manage their health more effectively.
• Access to diagnostics: Patients have streamlined access to essential diagnostic services, including radiology and blood testing.
• Frailty Review: Older adult patients are assessed and supported with managing frailty in to improve their health outcomes.
• IV Antibiotic Pathway: Patients requiring intravenous antibiotic therapy are provided with a dedicated pathway for their needs.
• Additional support to GP practices in Solihull for same day acute respiratory illnesses over the winter period.

These prebooked appointment through a patients GP practice or NHS111 help patients to stay well at home, avoiding admission to hospital.
