Holistic Therapies are designed to treat the whole body, mind and spirit. They are designed to de-stress, de-toxify and help to unwind. This helps the body to activate it’s own energy, which promote self healing from within.

This is a deeper massage and is more specific to injuries or muscle damage, e.g. sports injuries. Deep tissue massage is carried out on areas requiring work.
Swedish/Body Massage
Body massage is a deep massage where more pressure is applied to muscles to relieve tension and stress. It is designed to smooth out any tight areas and give relief from aches or pains.
Aromatherapy
This is a light soothing massage using a blend of essential oils specifically selected for you. It is ideal for relaxation and stress relief. It can help with sleep; can soothe aching muscles and help with any other conditions.
Reflexology
Reflexology is massage and pressure applied to the feet. It reduces stress and induces deep relaxation. It can bring relief to many conditions, improves circulation, boosts energy levels and helps re-balance your whole system.
Hopi Ear Candles
Does your head feel fuzzy;do your ear feel blocked? This could be the answer. A non-evasive treatment to clear your sinuses, and remove all that unwanted wax from your ears.
Natural Face Lift including shoulder, neck and head massage
Are you feeling tired or stressed? Do you suffer with sinus problems or from tension headaches? If the answer is yes why not treat yourself to a wonderful shoulder, neck and head massage? This massage also incorporates a natural face lift, leaving your face feeling invigorated, lifed and supple. It is also excellent for those who carry all their desk and driving tension in their upper body.
Indian Head Massage
This is probably the ultimate in relaxation. Massage is applied to the top of the shoulders, neck, head and face. It is designed to revitalise and bring balance and harmony back into your body. This massage is good for alleviating stress, sinus problems and headaches.
Hydrotherm Pregnancy Massage
Hydrotherm is a massage system which places warm water-filled pads on top of a regular therapy couch. Your entire massage is carried out while you are face-up, on your back. Your therapist will slide their hands between you and the pads to give you your massage. This massage relieves stress on joints and muscles, encourages swift recovery from muscle and joint pain or strain and can improve your sleep. As you are on your back throughout the massage it is ideal during pregnancy as you will receive a full body massage without the need to turn over.
Massage for Clients Living with Cancer
For many years having cancer has been a conta-indication with massage, meaning that those being treated for cancer were unable to have massage unless they obtained a letter from their consultant giving permission. The reason for this was that it has long been believed that massage could help the spread of cancer, which is incorrect.
The Amethyst Trust was set up to change this misunderstanding and train therapists in how to treat cancer patients and allow the therapist to obtain the required insurance that would make this possible.
I have received this training and have the insurance cover to enable me to treat cancer patients.

Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a talking therapy which helps direct your imagination in such a way as to bring about intended alterations in feelings, thoughts and behaviours. Hypnotherapy involves you experiencing a sense of deep relaxation with your attention narrowed down, and focused on appropriate suggestions that are made. These suggestions can help you make positive changes within yourself.
In a hypnotherapy session you are always in control and are not made to do anything you would not normally do. Hypnotherapy is not about being made to do things, in fact it is the opposite, it is about empowerment. Hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep although it does involve the induction of a trance like condition, but when in it, you are in an enhanced state of awareness, concentrating entirely on my voice. In this state the conscious mind is suppressed and the subconscious mind is revealed. I am able to suggest ideas, concepts and lifestyle adaptations to you, the seeds of which become firmly planted.
Hypnotherapy aims to re-programme patterns of behaviour within the mind, enabling irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome.
Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a simple form of meditation. It helps us focus on our breathing and allows us to observe our thoughts as they enter and leave our mind. Being Mindful is a way of maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and surrounding environment.
Mindfulness can help with stress, it can aid the fight with depression and help prevent relapse. It helps us to tune our thoughts to what we are thinking now rather than focusing on the past or imagining the future.
It can be very easy to rush through life without stopping to notice what's going on around us. Paying attention to the present moment, being more aware of our own thoughts and feelings and to the world around us can improve our mental wellbeing.
Mindfulness can help us enjoy life more and understand ourselves better. I would like to help you take steps to develop this awareness in your own life. There are many ways to practice mindfulness and I would like to teach you some of them. Meditation is just one example, it helps us become aware of what is happening moment by moment. We could say it teaches us how to be unconditionally present.
