Is your Menopause care truly tailored to you?

With so much information around supplements, it’s natural to feel unsure about what your body truly needs.

In her latest feature in The Portugal News, Dr Alison Grimston talk about Menopause being a deeply individual experience, and rarely a linear one. For some, supplements may benefit symptoms.

However, supplements are not a quick fix. They are designed to support the body gradually, working alongside your physiology over time rather than providing immediate results.

📌 Please read the full feature here: https://www.theportugalnews.com/news/2026-03-27/do-i-really-need-to-take-supplements-during-menopause/997100

If you continue to struggle with symptoms, it may be a sign to look a little deeper. Seeking professional guidance can help uncover the root cause and ensure your care is tailored to you.

Breast health is a vital part of caring for your overall wellbeing. And at the heart of that care is knowing what feels right for you and recognising when something changes.

These shifts can occur with hormones, age and lifestyle, and they deserve to be acknowledged with attention, not hesitation.

If you’ve noticed changes in your breasts or you're unsure, our team is here to listen and guide you.

Struggling to manage everyday while dealing with Long Covid?

Living with Long Covid can be complex and at times, deeply challenging. It is not a condition with a single treatment or a quick resolution. Instead, it often requires a broader, more considered approach to care.

For some, Long Covid may involve symptoms linked to autonomic dysfunction, including conditions such as POTS, alongside fatigue, brain fog and breathlessness. This variation is why Long Covid is rarely linear.

You don't have to navigate Long Covid alone. Our team of compassionate doctors and clinicians, many with personal experience of Long Covid, offer personalised health plans that support your entire system with balance and clarity.

Wondering how Menopause affects your diet and supplement needs?

In her recent feature in The Irish News, Dr Alison Grimston explores how to approach supplements during Menopause with clarity and care.

Hormonal changes during this stage can influence not only symptoms, but also dietary needs and how nutrients are absorbed. This means that supplements can be highly individual, what supports one person may not be suitable for another.

Are you feeling tired all the time, no matter how much you rest?

Persistent fatigue is often brushed aside as part of a busy life. But feeling constantly exhausted is not something you should have to push through or accept as normal.

Ongoing tiredness can sometimes be your body’s way of signalling that something is out of balance, whether that’s nutrient deficiencies such as iron, vitamin D, or B vitamins, or other underlying factors affecting your energy and wellbeing.

In our latest article, Dr Alison Grimston, Head of Women's Health and Functional Medicine Doctor, talks about persistent fatigue and its possible causes.

Last week's ITV Tonight programme, 'Why Are We So Tired?', featured Dr Alison Grimston, our Head of Women's Health & Functional Medicine Doctor.

Presenter Datshiane (Datshi), who has been waking up between 3am and 4am every morning for years, worked with Dr Alison to find out what's behind her exhaustion.

Dr Alison explains that this kind of persistent fatigue is more common than many people realise, particularly in those who are stressed, not sleeping well, or going through perimenopause.

Dr Grimston also conducted blood tests with Datshi to help identify any underlying medical causes.
