Four Oaks Healthcare is a nurse led, complex trained care company offering multiple care job opportunities. We have a wide range of roles available, including homecare healthcare assistant, live – in healthcare assistant, complex healthcare assistant, care – coordinator and team leader opportunities.

Is it a job role for you? Home Care shifts vary between 5 hours to 12 hours per day/evening in the service users’ own home (please note we are NOT a care home), candidates must be warm and friendly with a strong work ethic a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing our clients with high-quality care and support. You will travel from house to house, either on single calls or with another carer, assisting our vulnerable adults.

A desirable candidate will possess:
- Personable qualities such as being an effective communicator, being a people person and making those around them feel comfortable and at ease.
- Knowledge of care or experience in a caring background. An understanding of what is expected of all carers must be retained.
- Candidates must speak clear English and must write well.
- The flexibility to work alternative weekends.
- The ability to work a minimum of 25 hours.
- Mature qualities.

Your roles will include:
- Personal care (men and women)
- Medication administration
- Moving and handling
- Hoisting
- Toileting
- Food preparation
- Companionship
- Mobility support

Areas covered:

HOMECARE; Shard End, Castle Bromwich, Stechford, Chester Road, Tyburn Road, Castle Vale, Erdington (We will require all applicants to live within a 5-mile radius of these locations. Drivers desirable but not essential)

Pay rates start from £10.42 per hour, offering 30p per mile for drivers for HOMECARE.

Training provided for completion off the job

DBS processing offered if needed

We are looking for a Live In Healthcare Assistant to help and assist a spinal injury client.

The ideal candidate would have experience in complex care and would be knowledgeable about caring for those with spinal injuries.

LOCATION: You will be located in Cambridge, England.

RTW: You will have a right to work in the United Kingdom to be able to be applicable to this role.

SHIFT: Long shifts

SELF EMPLOYED: Anyone who wishes to be self employed will have to be with an umbrella company.

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to work 8am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday with someone who has Cerebral Palsy.

The ideal candidate would have experience in care and would be quite knowledgeable about cerebral palsy. You should have the availability necessary to work 8hr weekend shifts too.

We aim to base our clients around the B24 area. If you are not in walking distance to this postcode, having a driving license would ideally be needed.

The role of the field care supervisor is to support the delivery of the highest quality care support services by carrying out a range of functions in the field, including assessment and reviews of individual services, the practical supervision, instruction, and support of care workers.

Field care supervisors are expected to spend the majority of their working time in the community carrying out their primary functions, but their role will typically also entail a certain amount of office-based administrative work.

As a Field care Supervisor your role will include the following duties:

• Carry out initial risk and needs assessments in respect of individual service users, either in the service user’s home or, where required, in other settings such as hospitals or residential/nursing homes;

• Work in partnership with service users, their families, carers, advocates, healthcare professionals, and others to ensure the seamless delivery of holistic packages of individual care support;

• Work with care coordinators to support the planning of realistic, effective care worker rotas, with due regard for the particular needs of the individual and the particular skills and attributes of the worker;

• Carry out regular reviews of individual services, including repeated and renewed needs and risk assessments;

• Participate as required in multi-disciplinary review of service users’ needs.

• Shadow new care workers in the field to ensure their competence;

• Carry out the on-site observation and evaluation of care worker practice as part of routine supervision, in response to particular performance concerns, or as otherwise directed;

• Provide ad hoc support and instruction to care workers in the field, including in an emergency.

• Promote a safe working environment and safe systems of work in respect of care workers in the field and those that might be affected by their activities;

• Understand and follow hazard and accident reporting procedures

• Be alert to any changes in service users’ condition and circumstances and act appropriately when these change
