We were delighted to celebrate our wonderful client D.C’s special day last week. She was so pleased to receive a visit from our management team and her carer Lovleen, who brought along a birthday cake and gifts to mark the occasion.

Today on Staff Appreciation Day, we would like to take a moment to recognise and thank all our incredible care staff at Care2Home.

Our team works with compassion, dedication and commitment every single day to support people in their own homes. You truly are the backbone of our service, and your hard work does not go unnoticed.

It is not a role you’re able to do if you’re not passionate about this industry or helping people. It requires real care and love.

So, what makes a good carer?

You need to have patience, be compassionate, empathetic, understanding, friendly, reliable alongside many other qualities.

Caring is not just a normal ‘job’ caring is something so rewarding it brings you satisfaction & pleasure knowing you have helped someone in need.

We have many carers working for us who had no professional experience before they joined, but they had the above qualities and a caring nature which knew would help them succeed!
With our support and training, and their caring heart, they have become fantastic carers!
