If you’re a student passionate about global health, community service, and making a real impact in your community, we have a leadership opportunity for you. This year, we’re excited to be offering 1-on-1 mentorship in global health leadership year-round.

This is your chance to launch and lead your own Statice Health branch, identifying and addressing global health challenges and driving change in your local community. All initiation training is now asynchronous and free of charge, allowing you to participate regardless of your circumstances. ✨

Statice’s 2025 Impact Report is finally here!

In 2025, we were proud to have initiated 28 new branches, coordinating 60+ in-person health awareness campaigns with tangible impact. Our global community of youth is committed to bridging gaps in health equity both locally and internationally. It’s always a privilege to witness our branch leaders and volunteers transform ideas into reality.

Our executive team has been busy gearing up Statice for the new year. This year, we’re looking forward to streamlining the establishment process of new branches, expanding our network of youth, and continuing to create opportunities for our dedicated volunteers.

The 2025 Quarter 4 branches report will be uploaded within the next several weeks on http://www.staticehealth.org. New community updates to be released via email soon.

Celebrating another amazing quarter with Statice’s global family!

Our Quarter 3 Branches Showcase is now available on www.staticehealth/blog. This quarter, we witnessed what happens when passion meets purpose—like Statice Health Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences’s interactive sessions on personal hygiene and healthy daily habits for children with special needs. Quarter 3 also featured branches administering typhoid vaccines to over 200 patients and hosting awareness campaigns for breast cancer, menstrual health, mental health, and other health issues.

Our branches aren’t just expanding healthcare access, but building a community of hope, collaboration, and real impact. Looking forward to an even more successful fourth quarter 💚

The 2025 Winter Leadership Program runs Nov 17 – Jan 5 (virtual with in-person activities) and guides you weekly to build, launch, and lead your own Statice Health International branch—ending with an in-person health awareness campaign.

From village clinics to city streets, our 2nd Quarter health awareness campaign reports are now live!

Between April and June, Statice Health International mobilized thousands of volunteers to launch impact-driven health awareness campaigns—from hygiene workshops in Bangladesh to maternal health forums in Zambia.

Blog article #41: Menstruation Matters: Bringing in a Red Revolution in Pakistan by Eman Amir from Sadiq Abad, Pakistan

Pakistan is a place where women’s issues are always neglected, and likewise is their menstrual health. For ages it has been a topic not to be openly discussed around everyone, specifically in South Asia: a place where menstrual products are censored by brown paper bags. “When I purchase sanitary napkins from a local store, they always wrap it in a newspaper or a paper bag so that no boys or men can see what I’m purchasing. Why is buying sanitary napkins such a shame? I want every girl to talk about menstruation without feeling ashamed.”

Blog article #40: Side Effects May Include: An Insight into Medicine as a Capitalist Industry by Dana Ahmed from the United Arab Emirates

Since its inception in 1885, the medicinal industry has always been around to provide people with the treatment they need, eventually leading to the development of several large companies that specialize in pharmaceutical formulation and distribution across the world.

While pharmaceuticals have become the core of a booming commercial enterprise, the profit-led nature of this industry has proven to clash with the wholesome intentions of medicine. In more ways than one, the modern state of the pharmaceutical industry has prioritized monetary gain over consumer needs. This can be concluded when exploring overpriced medicines, the impact of television and internet advertisements, as well as the gap in access to certain medications due to shortages and off-label prescribing.
