Interested in Nature and how it can assist with your wellbeing? Then the Recovery College has something for you! With co-produced content from the RSPB, we are proud to present our new Nature Prescribing course.

Here are some of the activities you can expect:

Bark Rubbing
Creating leaf mandalas
Silent / Connection Walking
Scavenger Hunts

And more!

For our current students, we are running a Nature Prescribing Taster session on Wednesday 6th August at our Wolverhampton base between 10-10.45am. From listening to birdsong to pausing for a sunset, you'll learn how small moments in nature can make a big difference to mental and physical health. You'll also get a glimpse of the practical tools, like our seasonal calendar of prompts, that make it easy to get started.

If you are interested in our Taster Session or fully fledged course, then now is the time to get involved. Please contact the college on 0121 543 4061 or email: info@therecoverycollege.co.uk

Last Tuesday a group from The Recovery College and BCHFT Spiritual Care Team spent time at the Quaker Meeting House in Stourbridge.

Emma from Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Spiritual Care Team shares these thoughts:

"We had a lovely visit to the Quakers in Stourbridge on Tuesday. Very welcoming and fascinating to hear more of the history of the Quakers and the different things Quakers are involved with nowadays in terms of campaigns for justice and peace and inclusion. They are also rewilding their garden and it's just beautiful. A real haven."
