Fractional Laser Resurfacing

This is after just the first treatment, with a course of 4 to 6 sessions recommended for optimal results.

Fractional resurfacing stimulates collagen and skin renewal to improve scarring, texture and overall skin quality. It offers many of the benefits of traditional CO2 resurfacing but with less downtime and a safer profile for more skin types.

Compared with microneedling, fractional laser delivers precise thermal energy deeper into the skin, allowing for stronger collagen stimulation and more effective improvement in scarring and skin texture.

Results will continue to improve as collagen remodelling takes place over the coming weeks.

This was the final session in this scar revision journey, treated using the Lumina fractional laser.

The scar was the result of previous self harm, so this transformation means more than just improved skin texture. It represents healing, confidence rebuilding and moving forward.

Scar tissue behaves very differently to normal skin. It takes patience, precision and carefully selected energy settings to safely stimulate collagen remodelling and improve texture without compromising the surrounding tissue. Each session built on the last, allowing gradual, controlled regeneration.

Over seven treatments we achieved:
• Smoother texture
• Improved tone
• A significantly softened appearance
