wow….what a weekend at here in Birmingham 🔥 Here’s a few pics, so much more going on but this will give you a taste. Dope wall celebrating Henry Chalfants iconic contribution to Graffiti Art, some of the artists who painted in the heart of BHX, photos of Mare 139 catching a reach in the shop, workshops and more. DONT MISS THIS!!! As part of B-Side Hip-Hop festival Soul City Arts/Bullring/Bham Hippodrome have invited legendary photographer and videographer Henry Chalfont (Style Wars, Subway Art, Spray Can Art) and artist Carlos “MARE 139” Rodriguez to visit Birmingham. Along with a showing of the award winning Hip-Hop documentary STYLE WARS they will be holding a Q and A around Graffiti Art and culture. You’ve got to book a ticket via the Hippodrome website though, and there’s limited numbers so be quick! The exhibition is on for 1 month though in The Bullring🙏
