We recently said goodbye to the wonderful student who has been working hard here at Meadow Rose! 🌟

A big thank you to Kirsten for choosing Meadow Rose for her placement. She enjoyed learning from our amazing staff and meeting many of our lovely residents, and we truly loved having her as part of the team.☺️

We wish Kirsten all the very best for the future and thank her for all her hard work during her time with us! 💐

Mondays are for baking! 👩‍🍳🧁

We got our baking hats on and came together to make a delicious Victoria Sponge Cake! 🍰 Everyone had a great time mixing, measuring, and watching it bake to perfection.

The best part? Getting to enjoy it at the end! 😋 We all dug in and had a taste, and it was safe to say the cake didn’t last very long.

A lovely way to start the week with teamwork, smiles, and something sweet!

This weekend we had lots of fun creating magic scratching bookmarks ✨📚

However, Roger decided to take full credit for our activities coordinator Sophie’s hard work 🤣 and Brian had other plans… choosing to write a letter to his wife instead 💌

Despite the cheeky moments, it turned into a lovely creative day filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of love. ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a lovely trip out for lunch today at The Cambridge 🍽️

Happy 85th Birthday to Rita, celebrated surrounded by all her wonderful family! 🎉
It was extra special to also celebrate her granddaughter’s 30th birthday — we hope they both had a truly lovely party.

We loved being part of such a joyful occasion at Meadow Rose, where laughter and love filled the room throughout this beautiful celebration 💕

Getting creative this month of love ❤️🍕

We had so much fun making our own heart-shaped pizzas! Everyone got to spread the sauce and decorate their own before enjoying them together with friends and family.😋

Let’s just say… some of the topping choices were interesting 👀😂 but they were all made with love and definitely enjoyed!

Now we need to settle the big debate…

Does pineapple belong on pizza? 🤔🍍

We had a wonderful visit from Orchards Primary School and Rayside Primary School, who came together to hand out handmade Valentine’s cards to our residents and staff ❤️

This thoughtful gesture truly brightened everyone’s day, bringing a huge sense of joy and love to the home. The smiles on our residents' faces said it all — such a special moment for us all.🥰
