The residents at Meadow Rose enjoyed exercises with Jade our activity co-ordinator yesterday.

They used the ribbons to allow the residents to stretch their arms as much as they could. Allowing the ribbons to make different shapes as they went!

The residents concentrated very hard and listened to the instructions Jade gave them. They had a lot of fun.

Today our residents have been very crafty. 🎨

We have one of our lovely couples celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary next week, so the residents have been making them cards ready for their celebration. 🎉

Today staff and relatives came together to give Brenda, our kitchen assistant a good send off as she steps into her retirement!

Brenda has worked at Meadow Rose for many years and has been a big character in the kitchen. She is well liked by all staff and residents.

Brenda we all wish you well, don’t be a stranger! You will be greatly missed. ❤️🌹

We’re absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity we’ve seen so far! Thank you to everyone who’s already donated — your kindness is helping to spread warmth and dignity across Birmingham this winter. 🫶

Julie our customer relations executive has been out in West Heath this morning, dodging the rain ☔️

Julie stopped by the doctors surgery and the dentist. They are very helpful towards us in the promotion of our upcoming events.

Today posters for our Christmas Fayre and flyers for our coffee mornings were delivered.

Today our residents at Meadow Rose have been busy colouring in their adult colouring books.

They have concentrated to stay in the lines. They even encouraged there visitors to join in the activity too.

Whilst doing this they chatted and enjoyed their morning coffee and snacks.

This heart-warming initiative supports people experiencing homelessness in our city by providing bags filled with essential items to help through the colder months – and we’d love your help! 🧣🧤

We welcome all staff, relatives, friends, and members of our local community to support us by donating vital essentials. You can drop items off here at Rose Specialist Dementia Care – just choose from the lists below! 💛

Thursday 16th October shared a very special day at Meadow Rose.

Our lovely Janet and her husband Ken celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. 🎉🎉🎉

There were balloons, banners, flowers and a very important card from our King and Queen.

World food day at Meadow Rose had a whole new meaning yesterday.

Our residents with the assistance of Jade our activity coordinator made Halloween monsters out of food.

They really enjoyed not only making them but eating them! 🍫🍓

Today Meadow Rose has held their fortnightly coffee morning. This morning is open to all the community to attend.

Our residents enjoy a cake, cuppa and a chat. They had music playing today, enabling them to reminisce about the good old days!
