There are 5 other homes currently within the Macc Care group; Priestley Rose, Church Rose, Wulfrun Rose, Abbey Rose and Austin Rose. All Macc Care homes, are recognised by the CQC, and are providers of high quality nursing under the NHS continuing healthcare framework. What a fantastic Burns Night celebration we had at Meadow Rose! 🥃🏴

From poetry to plenty of Scottish trivia, our special Burns Night quiz put everyone’s knowledge of Scotland to the test — and there were some very impressive answers!

A huge congratulations to Ann, who took the top spot and won our luxurious hamper 🎁👏 We hope you enjoy every treat inside!

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this wonderful tradition — we loved sharing the evening with you and can’t wait to do it all again soon!

We have been creating a scrapbook filled with all our favourite memories from 2025!🕰️

We sat together sharing stories, reminiscing about our favourite activities and outings, and capturing them in this wonderful book. Once completed and when the weather picks up, we will be burying it in our garden as a special time capsule 💐

We love our weekly coffee mornings! ☕️

To make them even more fun, we’ve started adding weekly themes. Last week’s Country Western theme was a big hit! 🤠

Themed mornings create an exciting element of surprise each week and are a great way to incorporate special events throughout the month.🤗

We recently celebrated a very special 81st birthday! 🎉

Anne’s friends and family surprised her with a beautiful party at Meadow Rose. The day was filled with music, love, laughter, and plenty of sweet treats.

We hosted a classic diner experience for our residents to celebrate Elvis Presley’s birthday! 🎶

It was a truly enjoyable day filled with bright colours, laughter, and fantastic singing from our tribute performer. A wonderful time was had by all!🩷

Bullseyes, friendly rivalry and lots of laughs! 🎯

Are you a fan of darts and have you been watching the recent live tournaments?

We held our very own friendly Meadow Darts Tournament, and the residents absolutely got stuck in! Things quickly became competitive, with plenty of skill on show✨

Everyone had a fantastic time competing against one another, and the afternoon was filled with laughter and great fun😁

The first community coffee morning of the year was a great success! ☕️🍰

We had a fantastic turnout and enjoyed delicious cakes, coffee, and tea😍

It was also lovely to welcome some new visitors, including Trescott Residential Care Home. They had a wonderful time and will be visiting us more often 😁

We had the privilege of being invited to Bellfield Primary School for a Christmas lunch over the festive period!🎄

Our activities coordinators organised for a few of our residents to attend and enjoy a delicious meal, beautifully presented with a menu and festive crackers 😍 It was a truly special occasion and a lovely way to share some Christmas cheer.

We’ve had some very competitive players recently in our games of bingo and dominoes!✨

The fun and laughter that games bring to the home are wonderful to see. A bit of friendly competition brings so many different people together — and always with plenty of smiles 😊

This Christmas, Santa made a special visit to personally hand-deliver presents to all of our residents✨
