The family of Philip Gilsenan wanted to make sure they incorporated his personality into his Funeral Service. We accomodated their request for a purple coloured glitter coffin which we sourced from Steve Soult Limited and this was accompanied by a photo of Philip on his motorbike and floral tributes saying "rock on!" from Barlows Blooms Florist Birmingham.

Some of those in attendance opted to wear purple and top hats and feather boas similar to those that travelled in the Hearse with Philip were handed out to be worn by mourners too! The Service included tracks of his favourite bands including Oasis and T-Rex making sure he had a rock’n’roll send off🤘

Earlier this month, Sarah directed the Funeral Service of the late Debra Evans at Redditch Crematorium who was the beloved Mum of Funeral Arranger Selena and her brother Gareth.

Debra was incredibly artistic and creative, and this talent passed down through the generations in their family.

Selena, aware of the choices she offers to the families that she guides through the planning of a Funeral for their loved one, asked her own daughter Ruby to help design the Order of Service. The personalised drawing that Ruby loving created, was then incorporated into a bespoke Order of Service design for her Nan 💜

As a team, we send our love to Selena, Gareth & their families

Steve, our Funeral Director is pictured with Ernie the Hearse chosen by the family of the late David Evans to convey his coffin to Waseley Hills Crematorium as he had previously owned VW campers. Ernie was followed by Poppy our Land Rover Limousine, finished in bronze green and chosen as a nod to David's Irish heritage. A silver Jaguar Limousine completed the cortege in matching silver to compliment the colours of Ernie 🇮🇪

Some clients find real comfort in taking their loved one's ashes home. We have recently received positive feedback for a memorial urn which can include not only the ashes of someone special, but a treasured photograph too.

Please speak to our team about the many options available 📸💞

For the Funeral Service of Giovanni Esposito ‘Nono’ his family wanted to reflect his love of gardening and in particular, growing vegetables! The tribute created for his coffin captured this; incorporating flowers he'd tended in his garden and vegetables he was well known for growing in years gone by.

At the point of Committal, it was requested by Nono's family that the vegetables from the arrangement be cast into his grave rather than committal soil. Neil our Funeral Director assisted those gathered at the graveside to fulfil the families wishes🥒 🥔 🇮🇹
