The five love languages
We all speak and understand love differently. Scientists distinguish between 5 love language types: Acts of Service, Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, and Physical Touch
Acts of Service: Demonstrating affection by doing helpful tasks or chores that lighten your partner’s load.
Words of Affirmation: Communicating love through spoken appreciation, compliments, and encouraging words.
Receiving Gifts: Showing love with thoughtful, symbolic presents that convey care and appreciation, regardless of their cost.
Physical Touch: Communicating love through physical connection—such as hugs, hand-holding, kisses, or cuddling.
Quality Time: Expressing affection by offering focused attention and sharing meaningful conversations or activities.
