Today we had the pleasure of visiting the local Dementia Café, where we delivered a lovely hamper filled with treats for everyone to enjoy. 🧺✨ It was heartwarming to spend time chatting with the wonderful people who make the café such a welcoming place.

We’re really looking forward to bringing some of our residents along for a visit soon — we know they’ll love it just as much as we did!

With the lovely weather today, our residents took a stroll around the local park — enjoying the fresh air, beautiful scenery, and, of course, feeding the ducks! 🐥💛

It was wonderful to see so many smiles and laughter along the way, and our staff & a few family members that came with us loved joining in, too. A simple walk in the sunshine really does wonders for the soul! 🌞💐

✨🎶 Today, our home was transported straight to Hollywood with dazzling live entertainment that took us on a journey through the golden decades of music! From timeless classics to toe-tapping favourites, residents and guests alike were singing, clapping, and smiling from start to finish.

To make the day even more special, our entertainer led us all in a heartfelt rendition of Happy Birthday as we celebrated one of our lovely residents’ big days. 🥳🎂 The room was filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of applause — a memory we’ll treasure.

Moments like these truly light up our home, reminding us that music, friendship, and celebration never go out of style. 🌟

The Pub on Wheels rolled into Abbey Rose, bringing all the pub favourites straight to our residents – drinks, snacks, and plenty of cheer! 🥂

Afterwards, things got competitive with a very intense game of bingo – laughter, excitement, and a few playful shouts filled the room as everyone hoped for a full house! 🎱😄

✨ What an incredible day at our Open Day! ✨

From bouncing on the castle, enjoying delicious food, and singing along to the absolutely fantastic live music by Megan, there wasn’t a dull moment. She had everyone up on their feet, dancing in their seats, and joining in with big smiles all around! 🎶💃🕺

🎟️ Our raffle brought lots of excitement – the 1st prize went to one of our residents’ family members, the teddy bear was named Oscar and won by one of our residents, and our wonderful Employee of the Month, Carol, guessed 106 for the sweets in the jar (there were 107!) and also picked up a raffle prize! 🍬🐻🎉

We’re all a little exhausted after such a fabulous day, but our hearts are full. A huge thank you to all our amazing staff, residents, families, and visitors who came along – you made the day so special. ❤️
