There’s nothing like a good old board game to bring everyone together! Our residents enjoyed a lovely day of games, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition here at Abbey Rose 💛

From classic favourites to a few competitive moments, it was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, sharing stories, and cheering each other on. Activities like these aren’t just fun — they help keep minds active, encourage social connection, and create those all-important smiles 😊

Who says a little competition isn’t good for the soul? We think we might have a few champions in the making! 🏆

What an incredible celebration we had at Abbey Rose yesterday for International Dance Day! 💃🕺

Our home was filled with music, laughter, and so much joy as residents, staff, and visitors came together to dance, reminisce, and make beautiful memories. Moments like these truly show the power of music and movement in bringing people together ❤️

We’d like to let our community know that our Age UK Dementia Café at Abbey Rose Care Home will be temporarily postponed ☕💛

This is while we complete an exciting refurbishment within the home, creating a beautiful new space for everyone to enjoy — including a cinema and enhanced facilities ✨

Our Dementia Café means so much to us, and we truly value the connections and support it brings. We can’t wait to welcome you all back once everything is complete 💐
