CELEBRATION & THANKSGIVING SERVICES - MISS GILL FORD
Many of you may recall that Gill held the position of Principal Dental Nurse at Birmingham Dental Hospital when she joined our organisation in 1987 and continued to hold this position until her retirement in 2006.
She was a trailblazer for the dental nursing profession and leaves her legacy in the number of dental nurse trainees, qualified dental nursing staff and indeed various clinicians she impacted during her tenure within our organisation.
Celebration and thanksgiving services for Gill will take place as follows:
Committal Service led by Dr Alastair Scoulter
Date & Time : Thursday 12th June 2025 @ 11:00am
Venue: Woollenbrook Crematorium, Hertford Road, Hoddesdon, HERTFORD. EN11 9B5
Service of Celebration & Thanksgiving led by Rev David Ronco
Date & Time: 12th June 2025 @ 13:00pm
Venue: Hertford Baptist Church, 15 Chambers Street, Hertford. SG14 1PL
Family Flowers Only
As this will he a service of Thanksgiving for Gill's life the family would prefer if attendees did not wear black.
After the service all will be welcome to join family & friends for refreshments and to share memories, in the Church Hall, in the same building as the church.
For those who are unable to attend in person, both services will be livestreamed with relevant links will be made available closer to the time.

For those unable to attend the services in Hertford, I am hosting a gathering of colleagues and friends to celebrate Gill who would have celebrated her 78th birthday on 6th June 2025.

Venue: The White Swan Pub (Gill's Local), Harborne Road, Harborne, Birmingham, B15 3TT
There will be a book of condolence available at this event. Should you wish to send me thoughts and memories please feel free to email these to me via tina.gorman@nhs.net and I will add them to the book which will be presented to Gill’s surviving family, her bother Roger, and nephew and niece Daniel and Amy at the celebration service.
