It’s not just a syringe. It’s physics. 🧪
Have you ever wondered why we use different types of filler for different parts of the face? The secret to those seamless, "is-she-or-isn't-she" results isn't just technique: it is Rheology.
Rheology is the study of how a substance flows and reacts to pressure. In the world of aesthetics, this means we don't just pick a brand. We pick a specific gel based on two vital factors:
1. G-Prime (The Support) Think of this as the "firmness" of the filler. For areas like the chin or jawline, we use a high G-Prime filler. These act like structural pillars to provide lift and definition that mimics bone.
2. Cohesivity (The Integration) This is how well the filler sticks together and moves with your muscles. For the lips or around the mouth, we need high cohesivity. This ensures the filler stays soft and moves naturally when you smile, talk, or laugh.
Using a "stiff" filler in a mobile area like the lips is often what leads to a "fake" look. Conversely, using a "soft" filler for a jawline will never give you the sharp contour you desire.
True facial harmonisation is about choosing the right tool for the right job. My goal is always to optimise your natural features using a bespoke selection of products tailored specifically to your anatomy.
