Getting creative with flower arranging at Austin Rose! 🌸🌼

Our residents had a lovely time choosing their favourite flowers and arranging them into beautiful vases. It was wonderful to see everyone’s creativity bloom and each arrangement turn out so unique.🤍

We were even provided with a spider plant so our residents can start growing their very own baby spider plants! 🌿 A lovely little project that will keep growing long after today.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make it such an enjoyable activity! 💐

Whether it’s sharing a quiet cuppa, enjoying a visit from loved ones or simply marking the day in their own way, our residents are at the heart of today’s celebrations.👪

International Women’s Day was filled with cake making, painting, crafts, and plenty of laughs with loved ones! 💜

We made the most of the beautiful day up in the sunny lounge, where residents and families came together to celebrate the amazing women in our lives. It was a wonderful afternoon full of creativity, smiles, and special moments shared together.🥰

This week, the team at Austin Rose were treated to sweet pastries as a small thank you for all their hard work! 🍰🥐

From reception to our kitchen team, the treats were shared around the home as a gesture of appreciation for the dedication shown every single day. Each and every member of our staff works incredibly hard to make Austin Rose a special place and to ensure our residents receive the very best care.🥰🥹

Monday Mess! 🎨

We got the paints out this Monday and dove into some wonderfully messy finger painting fun!

We love activities like this — where creativity and a little bit of mess go hand in hand ✨ Residents and their relatives all joined in, making it a lovely shared experience full of colour, laughter, and imagination.

Sometimes the messiest moments are the most magical 💛

Yesterday, we hopped in a taxi and enjoyed a lovely day trip to Webbs Garden Centre 🌼

Our residents had a wonderful time browsing the displays and enjoying a delicious lunch together🍴

Christine joined us to socialise and share our upcoming events at Austin Rose with customers and staff🥰

Barbara made a beeline for her favourite aisle, exploring the beautiful range of colourful knitting materials — perfect inspiration as she prepares to host our next Knit and Natter session 🧶

Rosie was especially touched by the outing and shared her gratitude with the activities team through a heartfelt hug 💛
