We’ll focus on techniques to safely open the shoulders and spine, making poses like Camel, Wheel, Forearm Wheel, King Cobra, King Pigeon, King Dancer, and Full Bow feel more accessible.

• Anatomy Overview – Gain a clear understanding of spinal mechanics to support safe and effective backbends.
• Warm-Up & Preparation – Flow through a dynamic sequence to gently open the body.
• Backbending Techniques – Learn ways to improve flexibility and approach overhead grips with confidence, using a strap if needed.
• Pose Exploration – Try different variations of more expansive backbends, finding what works best for your body.
• Counterposes & Relaxation – End with soothing stretches to release tension and fully unwind.
