📖 From our book My Anxiety Coach: one of the key messages is celebrate the wins — any win. ✨

Every step counts. Even the smallest wins in managing anxiety are worth celebrating:
• 🌿 Trying a new coping skill
• 💪 Facing a fear you might have avoided before
• 🤝 Reaching out for support when you need it
• 🧠 Noticing and challenging an anxious thought
• 🌱 Simply committing to the journey of understanding yourself better

It’s not about how far there is to go, but about honouring how far you’ve already come. 💛

✨ In the middle of struggle, what we need most is compassion — not shame. 💛 Being human means feeling, faltering, and finding our way forward.

How do you show yourself compassion when life feels heavy? 🌿

Not every day will feel light, and that’s okay. Give yourself permission to slow down, to feel, and simply to exist. 🌿

If you can relate to the above, this is black-and-white thinking — a cognitive distortion that paints life in absolutes.
It can leave little room for nuance, flexibility, or self-compassion.

The reality: Most situations live in the grey area — a mix of good and bad, progress and setbacks.
When we embrace this spectrum, we reduce stress, make better decisions, and treat ourselves more kindly.

💡 Next time you catch an “all or nothing” thought, ask: “What’s the middle ground here?”

Being “strong” doesn’t mean pretending you’re fine.
It means honoring your limits, feeling your feelings, and knowing when to rest.
That’s real resilience. 💛

Summer can be beautiful — and overwhelming.
More light, more plans, more pressure to feel “okay.”

☀️ This season, give yourself permission to rest, set boundaries, and define joy on your own terms.
Mental health doesn’t take a holiday — and neither does self-compassion.

Swipe through for 5 gentle ways to care for your mind this summer. 💛

✍️ How to Start Journaling (& stick to it)

💡 1. Pick Your Space
Notebook, phone app, or scrap paper — there’s no “perfect” journal, just the one you’ll actually use.

🕰 2. Keep It Tiny at First
3 minutes. 5 lines. A single thought. Consistency > length.

💭 3. Choose Your Focus
• Gratitude list
• Daily wins
• Mind dump before bed
• Morning intentions

🗝 4. Drop the Rules
Messy handwriting? Random thoughts? Half sentences? All welcome.

🌱 5. Make It a Ritual
Pair it with coffee, tea, winding down at night — or try different times of day to see what works best for you.

🎯 6. Miss a Day? No Stress.
It’s not about perfection — just pick up where you left off.

🎨 7. Make It Enjoyable
Nice pen, cozy blanket, music, bed — turn it into something you look forward to.

🔄 8. Look Back Every Few Weeks
Notice patterns, progress, and moments you might have forgotten.

⏰ 9. Gentle Reminders
Set a prompt if you want, but only as inspiration — not a chore.

🎉 10. Celebrate Each Entry
Every time you show up, you’re building a habit worth keeping.

📌 Remember: You’re not writing for anyone else — just you.

Your feelings aren’t too much.
They’re not a weakness or a burden.
They’re information — and they deserve care, not shame. 💛

🎭 Drama hooks pull us into conflict fast:
“You always…”
“You don’t care.”
“After all I’ve done…”

Try this instead:
🗣️ “Help me understand…”
Curiosity connects. Drama divides.

🌱 It’s OK to Ask for Help 🌱

You don’t have to carry everything on your own.
Struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re human

Asking for help is one of the most powerful things you can do—for yourself, and your future. 💬✨

Investing in yourself isn’t always big or loud.
Sometimes, it looks like:
📞 Booking that first therapy session
📚 Picking up a book to understand what you’re feeling
🧘 Saying no so you can rest
🧠 Learning about your own patterns and emotions

There’s no one “right” way to begin healing.
But there is strength in choosing to begin. 🏁

You’re not weak for needing support.
You’re wise for seeking it. 💛
