🎄 It’s okay… this Christmas
Christmas can be a fun, joyful time — full of connection, tradition and celebration.
But it can also be a season packed with pressure, expectation, and emotional overwhelm.
So over the festivities, remember this:
✨ It’s okay not to drink.
You don’t need a reason. “No thanks” is enough.
✨ It’s okay to leave early.
Protecting your energy is important.
✨ It’s okay to skip gatherings.
Rest is not selfish — it’s essential.
✨ It’s okay to feel overwhelmed.
The holidays can be a lot for anyone.
✨ It’s okay not to be happy all the time.
Grief, sadness, and emotional ups and downs don’t disappear just because it’s Christmas.
✨ It’s okay to set boundaries.
You’re allowed to choose what feels right for you.
✨ It’s okay to do things differently this year.
Traditions can change. So can you.
You don’t have to perform joy.
You don’t have to pretend you’re fine.
You just have to honour where you are.
