A very exciting day yesterday for our Gorgeous Glamorous Gladys who celebrated her 100th Birthday, she spent a wonderful day celebrating with her family yesterday followed by cake, singing and celebrations here at the home today 🎂🥳🎈We’ve also enjoyed salon time, quiz time, arts and crafts(our wellbeing collages are finished) and a wonderful prayer and hym service with the lovely Father Dominic and minister Mable.

🎉Happy 75th Birthday Richard 🎉
Yesterday we had the pleasure of celebrating Richard’s 75th here at Ardenlea grove Care Home. Our team created a lovely birthday set up to mark the special occasion. In the afternoon, residents enjoyed a fun game of bingo and some light-hearted quizzes,followed by a cheerful singalong of Happy Birthday to Richard.🎂🎈

The day was made even more sweeter with a delicious birthday cake that everyone loved. It was a heartwarming day full of smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories.💙

Today we were treated to a beautiful performance by talented violinist Gail, who played a wonderful array of well-known songs. The music echoed through the home, lifting spirits and filling hearts with joy.
Residents joined together in a lovely group setting to dance and sing along, while others enjoyed the soothing sounds from the comfort of their own rooms.
A truly wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, music and connection. ✨🫶😍💃🕺🎻

A motivated Monday morning with Everyone4sport enjoying an energetic but fun start to the week.
Followed by a Heartwarming session with our residents 💛 they spent yesterday afternoon enjoying doll therapy - a calming, nurturing activity that brought smiles, comfort, and connection to many.
It was wonderful to see how engaged everyone was, sharing stories and gentle moments together. A simple but powerful way to support wellbeing.
As always we continue to provide meaningful activities throughout the home - whether in a lively group setting or during thoughtful one-to-one time.
Quiz buzz this afternoon with a general knowledge showdown. Nothing beats friendly competition and fun facts 👏✨🤔🧐and we even managed to squeeze in an impromptu trip to Birmingham dogs home to donate blankets - our residents were thrilled to know that many pups will be snuggled up warm and cosy when needed. ❤️🫶🤩🎉

We had a wonderful time celebrating Apple Turnover Day with Our Residents! 🍎💛💛
Thanks to the incredible support of Solihull School Volunteers,We turned baking into a heartwarming share experience full of smiles,stories and delicious aromas.Residents got involved in every step from filling the Pastry to that final golden bake.👩‍🍳👩‍🍳Its always beautiful to see generations come together.❤️

We hope your all having a wonderful weekend and are finding ways to keep cool 😎 we’ve spent some time in the garden on cooler days and on the hotter days we’ve enjoyed indoor games, quizzes, karaoke, prayer, hymns, baking, bingo, pampering, salon time, 1:1 activities and the favourite of the week 🥁eating ice lols as often as possible 😂🍦🍨🍧 enjoy our highlights 🥰
