Calling all Student Midwives interested in Fetal Growth 🎉

⏰ This year's Student Focused GAP workshop will be held on Wednesday 29th of April, 2026, 9:00-13:00, via MS Teams!

The workshop will be the perfect opportunity for students at any level to learn about the GAP programme including the evidence, risk assessments, referral pathways and clinical application. Please see the attached poster for further information!

Taking place on the 26–27th March 2026, at the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds. BMFMS brings together professionals in pregnancy care to share knowledge, promote research and provide a forum where issues relevant to pregnancy care are discussed 📖

Meet Emily, our midwifery programme manager here at the Perinatal Institute 💫

Emily joined the PI back in 2015 and previously led the national GAP programme across the UK whilst managing the roll out of GROW 2.0.

Now, Emily’s focus is supporting the GAP international programme 🌍 alongside the roll out of MiRecord 💻📲, our new electronic version of the PI’s hand-held (green) maternity notes 📗🤰

On her days off, Emily enjoys watching her little boy play football ⚽ and spending time with her family and friends ❤️👨‍👩‍👦
