Pregnancy - 3 years
Parenting for 4-11 years
Parenting forTeenage

- improve communication with your child
- parenting techniques
- understanding your child better
- improve listening and communication skills
- helping your child to learn
- reducing difficult behaviour
- being more affectionate and merciful
- being a positive role model for your child
- gaining more parental self confidence
- be able to make links to Islamic parenting values and understand Islamic references to parenting and raising children

Ramadhan often changes the pace of everyday life 🌙
With fasting, busy schedules and family responsibilities, it can bring moments of reflection but also moments of tiredness, overwhelm and emotional ups and downs.

It is not only about food and drink. It is also a time that can encourage self-discipline, kindness and a deeper awareness of our own mental and emotional wellbeing, and how this impacts our family life.

How do we support our children when routines shift?
How do we manage stress and emotions when energy is low?
How do we create calmer, more connected moments at home?

This online session offers a supportive and practical space to explore family wellbeing during Ramadhan, with a focus on emotional health, understanding and everyday strategies that families can take away.

Join us for a relaxed and thoughtful evening conversation focused on nurturing wellbeing at home. Please register via this link: https://forms.gle/LWHPDjQai1AFCPM79

Parenting a SEND child comes with so many moments we don’t always get to talk about the questions, the waiting, the small wins, the heavy days.

☕ Chit, Chat & Chai is a relaxed space to pause, sip something warm, and have real conversations with parents who get it.
We’ll be joined by staff from the NHS autism assessment team to share, listen, and talk through the highs and lows together. No pressure, just honest conversation.

Who’s teaching boys what strength looks like
when they feel confused, rejected, or unsure?

If it’s not us,
it will be someone else.

As parents, our role isn’t to have all the answers.

It’s to stay present, keep conversations open, and remind our boys that strength includes reflection, accountability, and turning to Allah for guidance.

Even small moments of connection matter more than we realise.

💬 Talk to your teen this week

May we be the voices our boys trust before they look elsewhere.

2025, we’re so grateful 💜

Grateful for the parents who showed up with open hearts.

Grateful for the honest conversations, the learning, the unlearning, and the moments of reflection that stayed with us long after each session ended.

Grateful for our speakers, facilitators, partner organisations, team members and the wider community who poured their time, wisdom and care into this work.

Also grateful for our wonderful Sparklers, Doulas, Counsellors and Volunteers. Your compassion, dedication and quiet impact made this year possible.

This year reminded us that parenting isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about choosing growth, compassion and connection, again and again.

Thank you to everyone who walked this journey with us and believed in nurturing stronger, healthier families.

Wishing you and your families an amazing 2026, filled with good health, happiness, peace and blessings, God willing

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual… and it definitely doesn’t come with enough support.

Some days you’re managing. Other days you’re just trying to get through. If you’ve ever wished you had someone who gets it without judgement, advice overload, or pressure, you’re not alone.

Sparklers Parent Mentors is about parents supporting parents. One-to-one. At your pace. With empathy, patience, and shared understanding.

You don’t need to be “struggling enough” to ask for support. Sometimes you just need someone to walk alongside you for a while 💜

Some days, being a parent feels like carrying everything and still feeling like it’s not enough.

If you’ve ever felt guilty for needing a break, exhausted from holding it all together, or quietly comparing yourself to others, you’re not alone 💜

There is no such thing as the perfect parent. There are only real parents doing their best, often without enough support.

Our counselling service offers a safe, faith- and culturally-sensitive space where you can talk openly, be heard, and breathe again.

Support isn’t a failure. It’s an act of care for you and your family.
