This afternoon, for Weekly baking club, our residents baked some delicious shortbread. The room was filled with smiles and laughter. 🌟 Our residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The shortbread turned out delicious.😋

Today our residents took part in our Weekly omph exercise session. This morning they worked their arm and leg muscles. 💪We also incorporated music to the session making our residents feel more energetic. We played balloon tennis and also passed the giant ball around. Our residents absolutely loved this and had so much fun! ⚽️🎾

This morning at our weekly cleaning club some of our residents was getting the napkins ready for lunch.
We listened to music 🎶 enjoyed a good old sing along to music from the Alexa.
As you can see our residents done a amazing job 👏

Movement Monday...today we all participated in some oomph exercises⛹️🏋‍♂️.
We was working on our upper body by playing some balloon tennis 🎾.
We all had so much fun and also incorporated some music 🎶.
Nothing like a good exercise session to kick start the week 💪.

In celebration of World Animal Day, General Manager, Michelle Love-Patel, from Alice Court Care Home - Avery Collection, is preparing for the ultimate challenge - abseiling off the stunning Peacehaven Cliffs.

Michelle is taking on this daring feat to raise money and awareness for International Animal Rescue, a charity dedicated to protecting animals in need across the globe. 🐒

“This is such an important cause,” said Michelle. “I’m thrilled to be able to take part in something that not only pushes me out of my comfort zone but also supports vulnerable animals who desperately need our help.”

Springwood Corner Care Home - Avery Collection, a brand-new 62-bed care home in Gravesend, celebrated its grand opening on Thursday 11th September 2025 with a fun 1940s-themed event 🕺💃.

Over 200 guests, including Avery Healthcare executives, local residents, and community leaders, joined the celebration, featuring a plaque unveiling by Mayor Jenny Wallis, a red-carpet welcome, canapés, prosecco, live entertainment, and even a stilt walker! ✨
