For just £120 for 2-4 of you - I will come to your home and teach you there - in the comfort of your own home - just £30 per person - that really can’t be bad now can it 🙋‍♀️🙌😊

Good morning - here is a little checklist to reassure of the differences between gagging a choking 😊

Babies will gag a lot as they are learning to eat and it will always be loud, colourful and messy - and that’s because air is going in and out to make the noise - so try not to panic too much if this happens and just reassure your baby 😅💕💙

Babies have a stronger gag reflex than us and so they will and do gag more often 😅

It’s inevitable that your baby or toddler is going to bump their head at some point as it really is just part of life - no matter how much we try to protect them 😅

For the most part all will be well, however if you are ever in doubt then take them to A&E and get them checked ✅

No good doctor or nurse will ever judge you for that remember - and it’s always best to be safe rather than sorry 😞

So this a text message that the lovely Amy-Jo posted in the watsapp group a couple of days ago - a message no parent ever wants to send!

But thank God Amy -Jo had done my Baby First Aid Course and therefore was fully informed and knew what to do as she had practised the techniques in class and sprung into action not help her little baby.

WELL DONE AMY-JO - you actually quickly and effectively and absolutely helped poor little Grace who was choking - you are a Super Hero for sure!

I cannot imagine how terrifying this must have been for you - but this is EXACTLY why I teach my Baby First Aid Classes - BECAUSE BABY FIRST AID SAVES LIVES!

It really is that simple.

It is also really simple to learn these techniques too - and anyone can do it.

Parents spend hundreds of pounds on monitors and heart rate socks and sleeping pads, they spend a significant amount on room thermometers too.

Sadly none of these things will help you in an emergency - they just alert you to a potential one (alongside creating a lot of stress too unfortunately).

So what are you going to do if the monitor goes off?

What are you going to do if the sock starts alarming?

What are you going to do if your baby starts to choke?

Please know I’m not saying this to scare you - I’m just asking the questions?

There is just simple NO monitor that can perform CPR or help a choking baby - that is down to you and only you.

So what is your excuse for not doing a Baby First Aid Course?

And of course - it doesn’t have to be with me - do it with anyone - but PLEASE JUST DO ONE because it will be the most valuable £20 you will ever spend my lovelies.

Welcome to Baby Safe

Our First Aid courses, are designed to build your confidence as a parent or carer in dealing with emergency situations involving your children. Baby Safe First Aid courses are facilitated by Caron Millard a practising midwife and first aid instructor and provide first aid training for parents of babies under one, and older children up to 12 years old. These interactive, confidence-building courses are held throughout Birmingham, Harborne, Solihull and Sutton Coldfield and will provide plenty of opportunity to practise techniques on manikins and ask questions. Baby Safe is committed to providing high-quality, up to date first aid courses and 100% customer satisfaction. We guarantee you will leave the course confident you will be able to help your baby or child in the event of an emergency situation. You don't need to have any previous experience; just a willingness to learn and take part in practical exercises which will build your confidence in dealing with emergency scenarios.
