We are calling on you to help us
When returning from the Winter Break we found that our building had been targeted with graffiti…again.
As we are based in Digbeth, we deeply appreciate the artistry and creativity in street art. However, as a mental health charity, having our building tagged is causing a negative impact.
Cleaning graffiti is expensive, and every pound spent on removal is money that could go towards helping the people we support.
Our building is more than just a building — it is a space of hope, safety, and support for those overcoming barriers associated with mental health challenges, neurodiverse conditions, and disabilities.
At Better Pathways, we run our three social enterprises and our seven employment and mental health support programmes, as well as mental health workshops, employability sessions, confidential one-to-ones, and skill-building activities. We want our building to uplift our participants and communities, but the graffiti on our building prevents this.
We kindly ask for your understanding:
➡️ Please respect our space and consider expressing your creativity on legal graffiti areas in Birmingham
➡️ If you see or know anyone planning to graffiti on our building, please encourage them to think about the impact on a charity like ours
➡️ If you had a hand in this graffiti and would like to make amends, we welcome your support in cleaning the graffiti. This could be a meaningful way to contribute positively to our community.
Together, we can make our city a place where people can create responsibly and where spaces like ours can continue to be a place of support and positivity.
We thank you for your understanding and support. 💙
