My passion is to assist mums-to-be in achieving a positive birth experience, whether this be in a hospital environment, homebirth or in most cases to simply birth without fear . I want everyone women to feel informed and empowered about their choices surrounding birth, to understand their bodies and the processes they will encounter. Mum to Bee runs hypnobirthing workshops & pregancny yoga classes for families in Birmingham B30. I want you to feel prepapred & confident enabling you to create the best birth experience you can.

• Your mind is suggestive, what it see’s it believes - this may be real, imagined, on tv even in your dreams - but it believes it is real.
•If you show your mind how to do something it will store the memory to be able to use it if you are in the same situation again (subconscious mind)

Something I love to talk about when working with couples preparing to meet their baby is how to handle their 💭💪 It’s amazing how different the world around us is when we simply see it with a different pair of eyes.
So what can you do to help make your BirthMindset stronger?
• Breathe... it will reduce adrenaline to help you make clear decisions
• Reframe... a positive can be found in any situation, it may be tiny but tiny seeds grow
• Take your Time... Even during the throws of labour you have time to think; what happens if you wait? what happens if you do nothing?

Sometimes events can make us feel like a victim - is that how you want to feel?

In my line of work I have the wonderful fortune of seeing many mums with their new babies. I am also extremely privileged to meet mums and families who have lost babies... Sometimes a mum may disappear from my Pregnancy yoga class, sometimes we won’t share ‘is this your first baby’ at the beginning of a class for a reason, sometimes couples come back to me to work through a trauma or a loss when they could be excited as they are pregnant again. And some women I never get to meet.
