It is truly heartbreaking to see complaints about our services, especially when those services exist to support some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

We continue to offer FREE prescription delivery as standard. The only time a £5 charge applies is when a delivery is missed and has to be rearranged — a cost that simply helps cover the additional time and resources required. This delivery service is not a convenience add-on; it is an important lifeline for patients who are elderly, unwell, or unable to leave their homes.

Today, our delivery driver was out in the rain, walking prescriptions door to door to ensure patients received the medication they depend on. This is the level of care and commitment we provide every single day, often unseen.

As a private pharmacy, all additional services are funded entirely by us. We do not receive extra funding to run deliveries, absorb missed journeys, or manage increasing operational costs — these are paid for from our own resources because we believe in supporting our community.

We have proudly served this community for over 40 years. Mr Patel, the owner, has always upheld a standard of care built on dedication, compassion, and professionalism. That commitment has never changed.

Our team is currently extremely busy and working under significant pressure. Sadly, we are also facing daily abuse from customers, both over the phone and in person. This is incredibly disheartening for staff who are doing their very best, often going above and beyond, to maintain a high-quality, safe, and reliable service.

Behind every prescription is a team of hardworking individuals who care deeply about patient wellbeing. We ask for patience, understanding, and kindness as we continue to serve our community with the same dedication we have shown for decades.
