Hello, my name is James and I am a qualified counsellor, accredited with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.

I currently work as a counsellor in schools as well as offering private 1-1 counselling.

My job is to identify obstacles that stop you from thriving and empower you to help yourself by nurturing your inner strength and wisdom.

I do this by helping you to articulate and process your feelings in a safe space and by identifying what might be holding you back, such as unhelpful patterns of thought and or behaviour, and working with you to rectify this.

I encourage clients to live mindfully as I believe that the key to a happy life is learning to be where you are right now. So often, we let the weight of past or the worry of what is yet to come stop us from living in the moment.

Like anything worthwhile, therapy requires commitment and courage. Happiness doesn’t come to us, but from us.

Whoever you are and whatever you’re going through, I look forward to meeting you and being an active companion on your journey.
