Weekly Neuro and Parkinson's Group Classes

Providing a safe & accessible environment for all. Rehabilitation should be responsive to the needs of the individual, supportive and fun! Every person, no matter what their neurological condition, is unique and your rehabilitation must reflect your individual needs and goals. We will work with you to establish your personal aims and support you in achieving them. Rehabilitation should be progressive and challenging, but fun and motivational! Its a team effort! A full neuro-physiotherapy assessment will be your first port of call, where you can discuss with your physiotherapist where you want your rehabilitation programme to take you. The treatment approach is tailored to your needs and evolves as you progress. Treatment may involve hands-on physiotherapy, using assistive technology, balance training, strength training and practicing functional skills. When you feel ready we will work with you to design a bespoke exercise programme to further develop your fitness and independence in our state-of-the-art gym. We will introduce you to your personal trainer or physiotherapy technical instructor who will support you in regaining your confidence to exercise independently and help you take further control of your rehabilitation. Specialist physio-led exercise classes are also available to inject some fun and friendly competition into your rehabilitation.

🤩⭐️Meet Amanda ⭐️🤩

We’re delighted to welcome Amanda to the team! With 30 years of experience in the NHS, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to patient care. She recently joined us full time in June, after starting part-time on Mondays back in February.

Amanda was previously the Lead Physiotherapist on the Stroke and Rehabilitation Ward in Market Harborough, and we’re thrilled to have her expertise and leadership on board.

Outside of work, she enjoys waterskiing, playing the flute, and has been active in Scouting for many years, reflecting her love for community and the outdoors.

Her diary is now open for appointments – so if you’re looking for someone who’s caring, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping you reach your goals, Amanda is here for you.
