Im not sure who was receiving therapy here! Me, mostly squished between over 100kilo of beautiful souls or them enjoying some light gentle touch along with some tuning forks to alleviate their aches and pains.
Little Cloud (as I call her), waiting on the bed in the photos, has been visiting for a few weeks now. She was quite anxious but soon accepted my touch and trusts that I am always listening to her. After seeing changes in her, mum wondered if Juno (Newfy) would benefit as she is having difficulty with arthritic joints. Absolutely beautiful gentle soul to work with. Again after seeing changes in her mobility, mum asked if we could see how Milo would be (Malamute). I wont go into detail of what happened to Milo but basically he is a rescue from China, when his forever mum was working out there. He has never accepted touch from anyone around his rear quarter. His mum has been working with a consent groomer, to try and manage his coat, which has done wonders so far but still working on issues with grooming his rear quarter.
He came in for a trial, to watch the others, get to know me, and feel the relaxing vibes of my room. He is uber friendly, which is helpful so I just gradually introduced a few touches when he came in. It didnt take long before I could touch his sacrum area, even hips but he was most taken with the forks, totally absorbing the beautiful healing frequencies.
This is an area I am currently drawn to developing further and it can be incorporated into the touch therapy to enhance the benefits and healing.
I am looking forward to seeing these guys again and working with them further. Its an absolute honor to work with them all

This gorgeous boy is Fury. He came to me a little while ago but is back for maintenance after a few issues diagnosed with his spine. Thankfully not causing him problems but his dad wants to keep it that way ๐Ÿ’œ

โ€˜wooโ€™ she said๐Ÿ˜‚
Squirrel is just so clever, she is a competitive heel work to music dog but seems to just know what Iโ€™m asking of her even if I donโ€™t use the correct cue words. Probably completely messed up her next routine ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‚
Her biggest fault is her lack of self preservation hence regular check ups with me to keep her supplement and aligned ๐Ÿ’œ

Remember Linus, conqueror of Mt Snowdon, restaurant critic and more?
He was back in today for a maintenance session. Heโ€™s got more muscle tissue, less pulls and tensions and was so much more relaxed in the situation . After not having the best start in life he sure is making up for it now ๐Ÿ’œ

Iโ€™d like you all to meet Ziggy ๐Ÿ’œ He had surgery just over a year ago on his spine after suddenly becoming paralysed. His mum has been doing physio exercises and hydro as part of his rehab. Hes come on leaps and bounds but still has a few issues we are hoping to help. Working to align the body especially following injury is crucial in supporting healing, reducing compensation patterns and minimising further injury.
Isnโ€™t he gorgeous ๐Ÿ’œ

These guys come almost attached ๐Ÿ’œyet they have only been together a couple of months. You would think they were brought up together for years, its beautiful to see. Both are rescues from dubious backgrounds yet have such beautiful souls. As I work on one the other is usually laid touching ๐Ÿ’œ

Very different characters, Hope (the white girl) is quiet and shy but her new brother Buddy, is shall we say less serious about life ๐Ÿ˜œ
I love this photo taken while waiting for treats. Hope is almost saying "I love him but, seriously, I do apologise ๐Ÿ˜"

Im not very good, no I tell a lie, I am rubbish at taking before and after photos ๐Ÿ˜ To be fair most changes dont always show in a photo but rather in movement, behaviour changes etc. Linus came to me a few weeks ago when his new mum took him on (supposed to just be fostering him ๐Ÿ˜). After his second visit we noted he looked to be standing better, his back looked flatter and we commented we should have taken photos ๐Ÿคฆ. So when this young man's new mum found these photos I asked if I could share.
The first photo shows Linus 4 days before he came to me. He had not long joined his new mum. His previous situation was not great and he lacked muscle tone, strength and was quite uncomfortable. So his mum booked him in to see me.
The second photo was taken less than a month later! Standing much better, moving better and building some great muscle tissue!! His new mum is doing some great work building his confidence and regular exercise to help him too, and as you can see, he is coming on a dream ๐Ÿ™‚

This delightful little girl is Cloud. Cloud is a rescue from China, from when her mum was working out there. She is quite a sensitive girl and can be quite nervous of new situations and new people. She was holding quite a significant amount of tension in her thoracic area but over time has allowed me to work with her to release this. She is now more chilled and moving more freely. She also has a lot more trust in me. the photo is of her following a session feeling quite zen ๐Ÿ’œ

They so do ๐Ÿ’œ

Dogs have an extraordinary ability to bring calm into our chaotic lives. In a world that constantly demands our attention, they offer us a chance to pause, breathe, and simply be. Their steady presence, unwavering affection, and joyful embrace of the present moment teach us the value of slowing down. Whether it's through a leisurely walk in the park, watching them bask in the sunlight, or feeling their warm body curled beside us, dogs gently guide us back to ourselves. They reconnect us with the natural world, not through grand gestures, but through small, sacred experiences: the crunch of leaves underfoot, the scent of the earth after rain, the quiet wonder of a starlit sky. In their company, we are reminded that peace can be found not in escape, but in presence and that the rhythms of nature are still within our reach, if only we take the time to notice.

Introduction

I am a qualified Clinical Canine Massage Therapist and WEBB Practitioner (Whole Energy Body Balance). Combining these various soft tissue techniques, which are suitable for all ages and breed of dog, it is an effective therapy for muscular and skeletal conditions such as muscles strains (tears) following over exertion or trauma for example, and is suitable for competitive/working dogs and dogs suffering from orthopaedic conditions including spinal or neurological issues. The therapy is also important for spotting early changes in your dogโ€™s musculoskeletal condition, and helping to maintain peak condition. An absolute must for aging dogs, to slow down the effects of arthritis and giving back quality of life and active dogs to maintain healthy mobility.
