January appointments will be released once I have my uni rota for semester 2 and I have a better idea as to where I’m at with my dissertation and assignments.

All current 1-1 Pilates clients have renewed for additional 6 session courses, therefore I don’t expect to have availability until the end of January. Due to interest and the work involved 1-1 and 2-1 Pilates will only be available in 6 session blocks.

Clients on my regulars list which includes the Wednesday Pilates class will have access to appointments as usual.

I will be setting aside some time to consolidate my pre and post natal Pilates learning post certification and will post regarding this in the coming weeks.

⭐️Weekly Roundup⭐️

I’m struggling to fit in appointments, especially massage, please plan ahead to save disappointment. Also please remember I’m not a qualified Physio yet and will not diagnose injuries! I can however recommend and refer you to the appropriate Physiotherapist.

Also anyone planning marathons and other big races next year this is the time to get a good base fitness before training starts. Remember consistency is key 🙌

⭐️ APPI Pre and Post natal Pilates coming soon🙌🤰

Due to being epically ahead of my uni schedule I have jumped at the opportunity to complete my APPI pre and post natal Pilates certification this weekend! 😅

After a period of consolidation, which is my usual method of ensuring quality in all therapies I provide! I will be offering 1-1 classes at introductory rates in the coming weeks and will be offering group classes from February 2026 when my dissertation and other uni assignments and assessments are hopefully done 🥴

More info on this to come…..but right now I’m off to class ⭐️

✨ Weekly Round Up! ✨

⭐️ Sports Massage
A really varied week of treatments with the common theme of supporting recovery, performance and wellbeing.

⭐️ Pilates
Lots of fun exploring some more challenging moves with the mixed classes at Tayloredfit physiotherapy, 1-1s are also challenging themselves and really starting to feel their progress: hard work, correct positioning and focused loading leads to some real gains🙌

⭐️Study
Uni work continues….. and it’s all feeling very real now! Lots of learning, lots of growing and I’m making sure I stay on top of it all!

⭐️Personal Health
A very active week! Consistency has been my main focus this week! I have developed my own personal 12 week Pilates program ready for lots of muddy winter runs and horse riding. I have continued my 1-1 APPI master trainer coaching sessions which focus on my own health and my teaching development 😅
Running wise I have managed 2 out of the 3 planned runs both with my eldest son who is wanting to increase his stamina for the winter Rugby season! We also thoroughly enjoyed Hackworth Parkrun and very much appreciated giving ourselves permission to walk up that hill! Alongside this I have been keeping up with my strength and conditioning specifically targeting glute and ankle strength and stability.
Finally, a big positive: I received some wonderful feedback from my dressage coach. Baby pony (6) is really coming along, building strength and shaping up beautifully. Prep starts now to get us strong and ready for some exciting adventures together in spring/summer next year!🦄

Weekly Roundup- it’s been a busy one!

It’s also feeling quite crisp in the mornings…..I’m looking forward to starting my winter fitness plan, combined with consistency will see me (if I can keep it!) to having quite a fun and active 2026 😅🤞

⭐️Sports Massage- a great mix this week to keep me on my toes: scar therapy, running legs MOT, gentle fibromyalgia fascial mobilisation and massage and assisted stretch and massage.

⭐️Pilates- 4 mixed group classes, 3 1:1’s and 1 initial assessment. Talks and planning in regards to the 1-1 and group sessions starting up in central Durham more on this next week.

⭐️Study- uni self study planned, huge list of timed targets to meet🥴, service improvement topic picked🙌, 1:1 tutorial with personal tutor and CPD shoulder biomechanics completed, CPAF and placement hours submitted😅….busy!

⭐️Personal Health- 1x Pilates mat class and 1x reformer class, 1 of 3 planned runs completed (NYSD cross country series🙌), 3 of the 3 planned mobility sessions completed and 1x coached session on baby pony🦄

Busy but winning🫣🤣

Lots of change this week! It’s definitely getting colder and wetter with the change in the season! I’ve set up my work space for the academic year, much more functional which is needed as I can foresee many hours sat behind that desk! Last push before I qualify as a Physio so planning to make life as productive and proactive as possible.

Sorry to those contacting to book in for massages it will be a few weeks before I can see new clients and if I haven’t seen you for over 3 months you will be classed as a new client as you would with any other therapist. My schedule is tight and my family, uni and regular clients do come 1st.

Exciting things to come with my Pilates classes: my own Wednesday group at St Helens parish centre is a delightful group full of fun and fire! I’ve had some super positive feedback from the loviest clients at my Taylored fit physiotherapy classes on a Thursday. My 1-1 sessions are coming on nicely, they are a great opportunity to focus on correct posture to really challenge, isolate and improve movements, definitely my favourite type of teaching! New classes and 1-1 sessions to be announce soon with another fantastic physiotherapy company based in central Durham…… exciting times!
