For anyone heading to the Hamsterley from up the dale, or vice versa. The bridge in Wolsingham will be closed for 4 weeks from next Monday.

** pre site travel information**
From Wednesday 26th November for 4 weeks. The causeway at Wolsingham will be closed to traffic.

Diversion from north is to stay in A68 through Tow Law to Toft Hill. Turn right onto C33 through Hamsterley village turn right onto Bedburn road. Allow 15 min for this diversion.

This does not affect visitors from south via Darlington , Auckland and Durham.

OK folks, the Marketron3000 has been fired up and we are now in full effect!

We wanted to see what would happen with minimal input from us and what happened is that we are a Gnats shoelace from being at half capacity.

Chuffed with that 😊

Let’s get the other half filled up and make good things happen!

Enduro format with seven timed stages.
2026 course will be a slightly tweaked version of 2025, to iron out a couple of little snags and make sure there is no room for confusion, whilst giving returning riders confidence in the route.

Showcasing the varied forest terrain of Hamsterley like no other event can, the Beast takes you from open moorland, to tight and twisty tech via chunky gnar, fast and flowing trails and a guest stage from the good people at Danny Harts Descend bike park.

It’s a big ride but the emphasis on the fun. Stages are against the clock and there is a cumulative time for the overall but that’s only as important as you want to make it. Some of you will want to destroy everyone and others will be content with beating their mates or besting their own time for the previous year. Some of you might just fancy having a blast out with a few hundred other riders. It’s all good. It’s all about coming together, doing what we love and raising some funds for a fantastic cause.
Us giving something back to the MTB community and the MTB community giving something back to the community at large. It’s flipping lovely is what it is.

We have some fantastic brands making an appearance this year, you may have seen some of them teased if you follow our good chums at Wetrocknride.co.uk and we have lots of great mates grafting away in the background doing fantastic things for us to make sure that we can bring you this event, more of which to follow but for now… safe to say you can look forward to some cracking sponsors, great prizes, delicious grub and top notch beer.

I'm Back!!

We had an amazing, very chilled out and much needed break in the sunshine 😊☀️🐠🤿🛶🏊‍♀️🍹

I'm now back to work as normal from tomorrow, and currently working my way through getting back to messages / enquiries.
