The Barn Project have been helping out at Lanchester to create an amazing bar area for the service users to enjoy, complete with beer mats, beer tray and pump. But don't worry there will be no hangover's here as it is all strictly non alcoholic fun 🤣🍻

🌟 Support Worker Vacancy – Lanchester Unit 🌟

Innovations is recruiting Support Workers to join our team, predominantly based at our Lanchester Unit, supporting adults with learning disabilities in a day service and community setting.

At Innovations, experience is not essential – it’s the values you hold that matter most. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The role includes:

Providing person-centred support

Supporting people to access activities and the local community

Promoting dignity, respect and Positive Behaviour Support

Building positive relationships with service users, families and colleagues

Maintaining clear and accurate records

Driving company vehicles

🕒 Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
(We are open to part-time applicants, provided availability is for full days)

💷 £12.21 per hour
🚗 Full UK driving licence required
📍 Predominantly Lanchester (with flexibility across other Innovations services)

A group from South Hetton unit enjoyed making and decorating Christmas stockings and a HUGE Christmas cracker.

Service users from The Junction enjoying their Darts and Domino's Christmas party which was hosted by The Mitre, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoyed their afternoon. Santa even made an appearance with gifts for all.
