Hi, I Am Jen Wilson, The Healing Rebel.
I help women reconnect with their bodies and reclaim their health through movement therapy, holistic healing, and the radical act of listening.
Living with Crohn's disease and endometriosis taught me what happens when we ignore our body's wisdom, and showed me a different way. Now in my late 40s, navigating perimenopause, I support women through deep 1:1 healing sessions and movement classes, combining evidence-based Pilates with fascia work, therapeutic massage, Reiki, Reiki Drumming (see photo) and lifestyle coaching.
Since 2009, I've worked with women managing chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, perimenopause, and the messy, beautiful journey back to themselves.
With qualifications in Sport & Exercise Science and over 16 years of experience, I bridge the gap between conventional healthcare and holistic healing.
The health service wasn't built to manage chronic illness. It was built for acute situations (broken bones, heart attacks etc) and it isn't coping with the demands of chronic illness. We have to take responsibility for so much more of our own health.
Based in North Glasgow, working worldwide thanks to the internet. Podcast host (I Am Jen Wilson, The Healing Rebel on most podcast platforms and YouTube). Author of "9 Rules to Sort Your S**t". Herbal tea obsessive (I make my own blends). Nature lover (I forage many of my tea ingredients). Sober since 2014 (had an awakening sitting on a beach in Ibiza watching the sun rise).
