It has been a quiet few weeks in the Bear Physio & Performance Clinic, but every once in a while opportunities present themselves that you can’t turn down.

Over recent months I have been fortunate enough to be working with the English Cricket Board, which has included a tour to Bengaluru, India with the Women’s Under 19 squad. 🇮🇳

It was an incredible experience to a place I had never been. The colours are vibrant, the weather was beautiful and the cricket was superb 🏏🏏

Being away from the clinic and not being available to offer appointments to my wonderful client base is not lost on me, but the learning and upskilling I get from working with elite level medical/coaching/support staff and athletes facilitates a heightened service for you when I return.

It has been an awesome trip.

What an incredible week working with the England Women U23s. A wonderful performance and result, beating Sweden 3-1 on Thursday, followed by watching the Lionesses last night at Wembley in their Euros qualifier.

The future is certainly very bright for English football.

One of our three core values at Bear Physio & Performance is to build a positive community.

As such, we work with local sports and athletics clubs to provide physiotherapeutic and performance-based services to help reduce injury risk and enhance performance.

We are excited to announce that we are now partnering with the wonderful Herts & Essex Badminton Club 🏸

They run club nights on Wednesdays and Sundays, offering both friendly and competitive sessions to cater for all needs.

We are so excited to announce that Wayne Kitchener is joining the Bear team as of Saturday the 9th of March. Wayne will run physiotherapy clinics from 9am-3pm on Saturdays, helping us to provide an elite level of physiotherapy care across the week.

Wayne might just be one of the most experienced and excellent physiotherapists we know. Currently working at The Royal Ballet School, here are just some of his wonderful credentials and places he has worked previously;

It is our last day in clinic today and we just wanted to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It’s been another wonderful couple of weeks for Clinical Director, James, who was working with the Welsh Women’s Under 19s.

A really enjoyable camp with a fantastic staff and player team. Unfortunately, the results weren’t what the performances deserved, but we go again.

Fun day yesterday for Founder & Clinical Director, James, as he covered the Bishops Stortford FC match at Hereford.

The lads couldn’t get the result they wanted, but did play some wonderful football. The future looks bright.

Good morning all,

In celebration of the rain soon to disperse from our lovely British Summer, we are offering a SUMMER SAVERS deal of a staggering 30% discount when you book a block of 5 sports massages. Once booked, the massages can be used at any point (there is no time limit), but in order to access the offer, you must book by the end of August 2023. This deal can apply to both 30minute sessions and 60minute massage sessions, with our wonderful, in-house masseur, Laura.

Laura is now working on both Monday mornings (8am-12pm) and Thursday evenings (4pm-8pm) out of our clinic at Koru Gym, Bishops Stortford. So, you can either start the week off right with a slot on Monday morning or use the Thursday evening slot to wind down nicely into the weekend. The choice is yours!
