Your Feedback Matters – Thank You!
We’re pleased to share our Friends and Family Test results for 2025.

The feedback shows that most patients rated our service as “Very Good” or “Good”, which tells us that patients would recommend our practice to their friends and family.

Every response helps us understand what we’re doing well and where we can continue to improve. We also carefully review all neutral and negative feedback so we can learn from it and make meaningful changes.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their experience – your feedback helps shape our services and supports better care for our community.

🗣️ Please keep telling us what you think – your voice really does matter.

**Refurbishment update**

We're excited to announce that Church Street surgery has new automatic entrance doors and a newly relocated reception at the front of the building.

Doors can still be operated manually or via touch button either side of the doors and from button on the wall inside the surgery.

We hope patients will agree these are a welcome addition to the surgery and significantly improve accessibility.

Phase 3 of the refurbishment starts today, with improvements to the ground floor entrance area, accessible WC and ground floor waiting area.

Note: Market Square entrance is no longer available for patients to enter or exit the surgery.

Did you know? There’s so much more to General Practice than phone lines and facetoface appointments.

GPs and their teams work incredibly hard behind the scenes every single day — from managing longterm conditions and supporting vulnerable patients, to organising vaccinations, safeguarding, training future clinicians, and so much more. 💙

This graphic from Derby & Derbyshire LMC highlights just how much goes into keeping General Practice running safely and smoothly.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the amazing teams who make it all happen. 👏💚

Due to current building works at the branch, we kindly ask only patients with pre-booked appointments come to the Church Street branch.

If you need medical advice, have a query, or need to request something, please call or use our Online Consult service . This will allow us to manage patient requests safely and ensures a timely response.

Thorley & Haymeads Health Centres remain open for blood pressure monitoring and prescription request drop off.
