Acute arthritis (inflammatory joints) doesnt have to get you down. It just has to be managed respectfully. Painkillers can help but there are other ways of helping it too! If you would like to know more just get in touch with us admin@stortfordosteophysio.co.uk

Osteopathy focuses on helping your body function at its best so it can heal itself more effectively.

What Osteopathy Can Do for You?

Osteopaths are trained to understand how the body’s muscles, joints, nerves, and connective tissues work together. Through hands-on techniques, they aim to:

* Improve movement and mobility

* Reduce muscle tension and joint stiffness

* Support tissue repair by enhancing circulation

* Help calm pain patterns

* Improve posture and biomechanics

* Reduce the risk of future injuries

* Support recovery after strain or overuse

By restoring better movement and alignment, osteopathy helps create the optimal conditions for healing.

What Osteopathy Cannot Do

Osteopathy does not directly heal damaged tissues. Healing is a biological process carried out by your own body. What osteopathic treatment does is support and encourage that process by improving the environment in which healing happens.

In simple terms:
👉 The osteopath helps your body function better.
👉 Your body does the actual healing.
