Meet the guy that helps us all to regulate here 🥰

The power of pets! Many studies have proven that animals can be brilliant companions to help some children to regulate, concentrate and remain calm. Animals with suitable temperaments can teach responsibility and empathy, offering an all round positive influence.

Our fox red labrador is our honorary therapy dog. He has the optimal temperament and a special ability to create a bond between humans and himself.
*Whilst Mac isn’t currently utilised in actual therapy programmes with our clients, he plays a fundamental role in ensuring all of us here at KMB Children’s Occupational Therapy receive the cuddles, exercise and down time that we need.

Motor planning is a specialist area of mine and there are a huge number of activities we can implement to promote improving motor planning for Children.

I create personalised Motor plans focussing on engaging the child. Each child has different interests, abilities and motivators which is why I commit to create bespoke plans with the individual in mind. We collaboratively work with children and explore new ideas with them prior to creating a plan to build up neuro pathways.

Motor Planning Programmes can be offered after an assessment and will include a number of step by step exercises and tasks to specifically target areas noted and agreed upon at assessment stage.

1-1 sessions either face to face or virtually are also being offered half price for the month of April!
