A huge part of my work is helping women to transcend pain in labour and birth . There are many coaches who refuse to mention the "P" word but I think this is a disservice.

Practising active birth positions and hands on birth partner roles can help encourage progress and reduce labour time .

Empowering women with breathing and visualisation skills allows them to meet each surge of their body with calm confidence .

There comes a time in every mothers life when you have to confront the very painful but equally wonderful moment of the adult cords being cut .
When all the coaching ( not nagging ) about flushing loos, cleaning football boots, eating healthily, hanging up wet towels is silenced and what remains is immense love and pride as you send them off into the world.

I will miss your mess beyond all words ._ Liverpool is lucky to have you.❤️
