I’m opening a few spaces for 1:1 Personal Training and Private Yoga here in Bishop’s Stortford.

These sessions are completely tailored, whether you want to build strength, improve flexibility, release stress, or simply carve out time for yourself. My focus is always on meeting you where you’re at and supporting you to move forward with confidence.

Sessions are inclusive and welcoming — menopause-friendly, age-positive, and supportive of neurodiverse clients.

Kingston to Hastings 🚴‍♀️ 125km | 7 hrs

This was such a beautiful ride with quiet country roads, forest trails, and rolling hills. We picked up the Cuckoo Trail near Heathfield, which was traffic-free, peaceful, and so scenic. It felt like something out of a Visit Britain ad! 🌳

We lucked out with the weather. Stopped halfway for a sandwich at cute little flower farm café which had proper Bake-Off vibes. 🧁🥪☕️

Then we pushed on to Hastings, where we landed just in time for food and a couple of cheeky drinks to celebrate and a bed for the night. 🥂

Google said 8 hours, we did it in 7, which we were patting ourselves on the back for! 💪

Didn’t stop much for photos (regretting that now), but we were on a mission and just wanted to keep moving.

Our legs were done by the end, so getting the train home the next day was the right call.

It is a tough but totally doable route. If you’re up for a long, scenic ride, I would highly recommend this one.🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️💕

Hardest Park Run in the UK?

I took part in the Great Yarmouth North Beach Parkrun yesterday.
I’d read it was the hardest parkrun in the UK, but I wasn’t put off as I love running on the beach. I just wasn’t prepared for just how much of it was on soft sand!

The course is made up of laps, so once you’ve done one, you know exactly what’s coming. The best part was running close to the sea. The worst? All that soft sand, so much of it! It had been freshly raked too, which I’m still not sure helped or made it even harder.

It was smaller, too, with only 59 people. My last park run at Bushy Park had 1706 people.

I completed the 5K, around 10 minutes slower than my usual time.

If you’re feeling bored of your usual parkrun, give this one a go. I now totally get why it’s called the toughest in the UK.

Not sure I’d do it again… but I’m definitely glad I did.

Raising a daughter while going through my own changes has been a journey of strength, learning, and unlearning.

I want her to grow up questioning, challenging, and standing strong in who she is, never shrinking, never doubting that her voice matters. And as she steps into her power, I’m stepping into mine too.

Every stage of life brings its own challenges, but also its own kind of strength.

My number one tip, one that worked for me last night and many times before, is a sleep meditation. My go-to is on the Calm app. It helped quiet the thoughts telling me to just get up, even though it was 3 a.m., and instead, I drifted off to sleep when I thought it was impossible. Elevate your core strength with this powerful sequence! 🏋️‍♂️



Pose 1: Bird Dog

•Start on hands and knees.

•Inhale as you extend right arm forward and left leg back.

•Hold for 3 to 5 breaths. Engaging the core.

• Exhale as you bring them back to tabletop.

• Switch sides.

•Repeat 5 times.



Pose 1: Bird Dog 🦜🐕

•Start on hands and knees.

•Inhale as you extend right arm forward and left leg back.

•Hold for 3 to 5 breaths. Engaging the core.

•Exhale as you bring them back to tabletop.

•Switch sides. Repeat 5 times each side.



Pose 2: Forearm Plank 🌟

•Lower onto forearms, elbows below shoulders.

•Maintain a straight line from head to heels or lower to knees. Keep shoulders over elbows.

•Maintain a steady breath, inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

•Hold this position for 3 to 5 breaths (30 seconds to 1 min).



Pose 3: Boat Pose 🛶

•Sit on the mat, lean back.

•Lift legs and upper body, forming a V shape.

•Balancing on your sitting bones, engage the core.

•Take option to place hands on the floor or parallel in front.

• Hold this position for 3 to 5 breaths (30 seconds to 1 min).





Pose 4: Plank Knee to Elbow 💥

•Begin in a plank position. Either on your toes or knees.

•Exhale as you bring right knee to right elbow, then switch.

• Aim for 10 repetitions on each side.



Pose 5: Bridge Pose 💪

•Lie on your back with your knees bent and hip distance apart.

•Place your arms alongside your body palms facing down.

•Inhale as you lift your hips upwards.

•Engage core and glutes for a strong bridge.

•Hold this position for 3 to 5 breaths (30 seconds to 1 min).

•Exhale as you lower your hips.

• Repeat 5 times.

5 Pose Friday:

🌿 This is one of my favourite morning vinyasa flows that connects just 5 poses together.
Take it at your own pace; this sequence can be as mindful or quick and invigorating as you like.



1️⃣ Tabletop: On your hands and knees, check that your shoulders are stacked above wrists and hips above the knees. The back is flat like a table. Take some mindful breaths here.



2️⃣ Kneeling Plank: Move hands forward about a hand length.

Move the hips forward until the shoulders are above the wrists. Engage your core and find strength in this pose.



3️⃣ Knees Chest Chin: Exhale to lower down so that your chest is between your hands. Your chin is in contact with the floor, and the bottom sticks up.



4️⃣ Upward-Facing Dog: Inhale, lower the hips to the floor, and press into the heel of the hands so that your chest is lifted. Knees can stay on the floor. Take your gaze upwards.



5️⃣ Child's Pose: Move your bottom towards your heels. Lengthen your arm so they are long. Stay here for some long, slow breaths.



Repeat as you like. Move through the sequence at your own speed depending on your mood and energy.

🌬️ Promotes mindful breathing with synchronised movements.

💆‍♀️ Relieves tension and stress, fostering a sense of calm.

🔄 Builds a flowing connection between mind and body.
