Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Harlow Museum and the Walled Gardens. The fresh air, beautiful flowers, and rich history offered the perfect setting for laughter, conversation, and happy memories.

Days out like this bring so many benefits – from boosting wellbeing and sparking reminiscence to encouraging gentle activity and social connections. 💐😊

🌸🎶 Today we welcomed Tickled Pink Productions to Meadowbrook! 🎶🌸

They put on a wonderful show that had nearly every resident come out to enjoy. From singing along to dressing up, everyone had a chance to get involved and share in the fun. 💃🎤✨

Programs like this bring so much joy to our community — they encourage social connection, spark memories, and give residents the chance to express themselves in creative and uplifting ways. 💕

A big thank you to Lindsey, who led a Falls Awareness course this morning in our Saffron Lounge 💜 Our residents joined in and took part in the session, learning practical tips on how to stay steady, safe, and confident in their everyday lives.

Weekends at Meadowbrook are always special, and this one in Bishop’s Stortford was no exception! 🌟

On Saturday, our residents came together with Debbie to create the next installment of our bistro artwork series 🎨 — this time inspired by the rich colours and cosy charm of autumn 🍂🍁. The creativity and teamwork on display were wonderful to see, and the finished pieces are a true reflection of the season.

The afternoon continued in true Meadowbrook style with Debbie’s much-loved Saturday quiz 🧩✨, which always brings plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and community spirit.

And to top it all off, we had a very special visit from Boris the pup 🐾💛, who brought even more smiles and cuddles to the weekend!

A big thank you to everyone who took part and made it such a joyful time❤️

This week we had a visit from Boris the pup, bringing smiles and cuddles all round, along with Tina’s pop-up clothes shop, giving everyone the chance to browse, chat and treat themselves. 💙

Moments like these are more than just fun – they’re hugely beneficial for wellbeing, encouraging social connection, lifting spirits, and adding a little extra joy to the week.
