SHOULD YOU TRAIN THE WEEK BEFORE YOUR PERIOD?? 100% YES.
Alright girls, I’m gonna say this straight…
I’ve never had a period, so I’m not gonna pretend I know exactly how you feel.
But I do work with a lot of women, and I see the same pattern every single month.
That week before?
Energy drops.
Mood dips.
Everything feels harder than it should.
And the last thing you want to do… is train.
But here’s what I tell my clients 👇
Still go.
Not to smash it.
Not to push PBs.
Just go in at 50%.
Tick the box ✔️
Move your body.
Use it for that feel-good factor.
Because every single time… they come back saying the same thing:
“I feel so much better for doing that.”
Skip it, and it usually goes the other way—
You feel worse,
You end up picking at food,
And you beat yourself up for doing nothing.
That week isn’t about being at your best.
It’s about showing up anyway.
Do it for your mood.
Do it for your head.
Do it for future you.
