A big THANK YOU to everyone who came along to the Macmillan Coffee Morning in Old Harlow today, we've added up all the donations and there was a total of £303.10 raised!!

This could not have been achieved without the generosity of the scrumptious who donated 4 amazing cakes, Alan Howick from who donated the hamper for the prize draw, and our hard working helper Marie who ably assisted Tom and Phil. Great team effort. 😀👏👏👏

Jo and Seamus from our Epping and Loughton funeral homes, enjoyed the opportunity to support Loughton Day. It was good to see how well attended it was by local businesses, charities and groups, allowing them to showcase a little part of what they do. There were demonstrations from local singing groups, karate clubs, florists, nursing homes and many more, together with our local emergency services. The weather held out and the day was a great success for the local community.

On Sunday, our Head of Operations, Jonathan, gave a talk at the Church of St Philip the Apostle, South Tottenham, exploring the link between funerals and faith through the centuries, and changes in modern attitudes to the funeral ritual.
