So, this happened today! Kevin 🦇 seems to be awake and clinging on to my house, when he should be fast asleep for the winter. Thankfully Bat Conservation Trust have info on their website re when a bat is in need of rescue and exactly how to rescue. So now Kevin is in a lovely box and has been taken by bat ambulance 🚑 to a bat carer 💕

Best part of this story is that when you ring up the Bat conservation trust they ask if you are ringing to report a bat crime - which tickled me. Yes, yes, I know it's serious business people, and obviously I care, the wording just tickled me.

Well done Bat Conservation Trust, you were brilliant! Hopefully all Kevin needs is some food, safety and he will be released when it's warmer 🤞😍

Sunday 7th December - 10am until 5pm - in Great Dunmow

Two hours of fun yoga in the morning, followed by lunch at Galatea and then on to an afternoon learning how to make a willow wreath and all the fun of adding foliage, ribbons, berries, cinnamon sticks, etc.

Includes:

2 hours of yoga
All the materials you will need to make your wreath
Tuition from willow artist Debs Hart
Mulled wine, Fizz, Mince Pies and nibbles to enjoy throughout the afternoon

This is going to be a gorgeous day filled with Christmas sparkle, creativity, fun, chatting, yummy food and you get to take home a magnificent wreath at the end.

Debs is a genius - she's been teaching willow & basket weaving workshops all over the UK for National Trust, English Heritage & the RHS for over 20 years - so if you are struggling, she will help you get a fantastic wreath at the end 🙂

Hi lovely people of Dunmow and nearby... I need lots of big pieces of card/cardboard for my next art project (delivery boxes, anything like that 👍) and outdoor paint (fence paint, paint for external woodwork, tester pots, big pots, all colours).

Standing yoga poses build foundational strength, improve stability and balance, enhance posture by aligning the spine and strengthening back muscles, and increase flexibility in the hamstrings, hips, and shoulders.

They also boost focus, stamina, and discipline by requiring a steady gaze, promoting mindfulness, and engaging core muscles for stability. These poses provide a solid basis for a yoga practice, and improve circulation and the fluidity of energy within the body.

Bring your yoga chair if you have one (you can borrow one if not)
