Happy National Skin Barrier Day 🫧

Your skin barrier is the outermost layer of the skin and acts as your skin’s protective shield. Its job is to keep hydration in while protecting the skin from irritation, bacteria and environmental damage.

When the barrier is healthy, skin feels calm, hydrated and resilient. When it becomes impaired, you might notice dryness, sensitivity, redness, breakouts or skin that suddenly reacts to products it normally tolerated.
