This post ties in nicely with my previous reel of the river Tay.

Every day is a school day on here. Thanks to Andy McTeir for alerting us to this.

Dunfermline is on the Belinus Line, a long-distance north-south alignment running the length of the UK from the Isle of Wight up to northern Scotland and connecting ancient sites and cities, including Dunfermline itself.

What is the Belinus Line?
The Belinus Line is considered by earth energy researchers to be the UK’s spiritual “spine”—an alignment of ancient sacred and historic sites that stretches north-south, linking the Isle of Wight in the south to Lairg and Durness in the north of Scotland. The line’s name comes from King Belinus, a legendary British monarch said to have commissioned a stone road along the island’s length in the mists of pre-Roman mythology.

Main Features
It was mapped by researchers including Guy Raglan Phillips and Gary Biltcliffe.

The line is said to connect key ancient centres such as Wi******er, Birmingham, Manchester, Carlisle, Dunfermline, Pitlochry, and Lairg.

Along this alignment, many sites are associated with prehistoric, Celtic, or later cultural power.

Researchers and dowsers believe the alignment carries special twin “serpentine” energy currents, akin to the more famous St Michael Line (which runs west-east).

Dunfermline’s Connection
Dunfermline is highlighted as one of the significant ancient centres along the Belinus Line, suggesting both geographical and spiritual importance.

The Belinus Line passes through Dunfermline as it stretches through Scotland, linking other central towns such as Pitlochry and Lairg.

The presence of ancient stones and historic monuments in the area may be related to its position on this alignment.

Sources and Modern Research
The line and its myth were popularised by Gary Biltcliffe in his book "The Spine of Albion" after his extensive research and dowsing expeditions.

Biltcliffe and others argue for a cultural and energetic significance along the line, even if its existence as a literal ancient road is debated by mainstream historians.

In summary, the Belinus Line is a legendary and researched alignment running through Britain, with Dunfermline recognized as one of its key locations.

I had a thought for today and remembered this short video I took a few months ago which ties in nicely.
Last week I mentioned taking time out to just be. Well this week I thought I’d share a moment of awareness which can have a similar impact to meditation. I suppose it’s a moment of mindfulness.
I was sitting outside eating my lunch when out of my eye I saw this wee guy having a wander. As you can see he/she is not that big so could easily have gone unnoticed. If we take the time to stop and look and be in the moment watching for a minute or two. We are living in the now. How many of us are living in the past or the future? We forget to live in the NOW. The now becomes the past so if we are aware of the now then we can make sure we have a better past that won’t take up too much of our mind in the future.
These small moments can add up and rewire our brains. They can bring us small pockets of joy to fill our days. Why not try adding in one today. Who knows you might enjoy it and add more in each day.
