Queen's Lodge Nursing and Care Home in Blackburn provides provides care for up to 40 residents in a We have ample parking for visitors.

Queen’s Lodge is split over two floors, with 34 bedrooms (including 6 twin rooms), all of which are ensuite. We encourage residents to bring their own furnishings to make their room feel as homely as possible. Inside the home, there are five comfortable lounges, library, a large open plan dining room serving fresh home-cooked food, hairdressing salon and beautiful gardens with well maintained lawns, flower beds, trees, seating and our own a duck pond. We also offer a personal laundry service for all residents and as well as a hairdresser who attends weekly, we also have regular visits from an optician, dentist and chiropodist. e provide a wide range of activities designed to encourage group involvement but also to meet individual needs, but the choice to participate rests solely with our residents. Each day is different, but activities include bingo, dominoes, reminiscence, arts and crafts, exercise classes, race nights evenings, pamper nights, coffee mornings and outings to local markets and shops and also local places of interest. We also encourage visits from local entertainers, such as choirs, singers, and groups. Queen's Lodge has a highly qualified, long-serving staff team, including Registered Nurses, who are committed to providing unrivalled person-centred care, ensuring our residents are safe, happy and comfortable in the home at all times.

🎄🧁 Great British Christmas Bake-Off at Queens Lodge!

We had a fantastic time hosting our very own Great British Christmas Bake-Off!

Residents mixed their cupcakes from scratch, baked them, and then got creative decorating their own festive treats.

Our lovely Vikky had the important job of judging and awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes, but really, everyone was a winner! 🏆✨

Yesterday at Queens Lodge! 👩‍🍳🍰

We had a wonderful day with our residents, staff, and family members as our catering partners, apetito, joined us for a delicious tasting day!

We sampled lots of amazing dishes, from hearty pies and flavourful curries to tender roast beef and, of course, plenty of puddings! 😋

We got some brilliant feedback on the tasty dishes, a huge thank you to the fantastic team at apetito for joining us and hosting such a lovely session. 💙
