Today's post is a special one from me. In the first lockdown we stood outside our doors praising and clapping as well as thanking our NHS for their dedicated work in this pandemic. Now we need to pray for them as well as thank them many are falling ill with covid. Staff rates are high as well as deaths. Yesterday we sadly reached 50 thousand deaths to covid which is devastating. I myself have seen covid positive patients. I want to say thank you to all NHS staff 💙 your awesome your amazing and despite been knocked down you come up fighting. I'm still selling these wristbands to raise money for our nhs. Lockdown 2 - Rainbow Thursday 🌈
So today’s the first day of the second national lockdown....
A few things to make things feel easier
❤️ You got through the last one and you can get through this one
🧡Learn and reflect from last time, there’s no pressure to be so busy and productive every day, so take it easy
💛Winter means darker mornings and nights so keep talking to people to feel uplifted
💚We are all strong enough to get through it, don’t give up
💙 Remember it won’t last forever, there is light
💜 There is support out there if you need it, talk to friends, family and use local and national support services if needed
We are all in this together again, be safe, be kind and be you 🖤
And lets say thank you to all the key workers, teachers and essential services who are carrying on 🌈

Hey you lovely sparklers 💕
How are we all holding up. Its been a tough week so far for me, as I'm sure it is for many of you. When I started my journey in the NHS 💙 7 years ago I never imagined it would change so dramatically as it has done. As we cope with the next wave we need to keep strong and not lose sight of why we are where masks why we are washing our hands and why we are keeping our distance. Frontline workers for the NHS are now faced with a new routine which we never had before. Some are showering at work before they leave. Like myself we change into uniform at work. After the shift we change into clothes go home tired and sometimes exhausted to do it all over again the next day. It's tough but we do it cause we care. Stay safe stay strong

Prayers and loads of love❤️ whose mum is currently in hospital ☹️ we wish her a safe and speedy recovery ❤️

Get well soon mum!
So as you may be aware my mum was taken to hospital and because of pandemic restrictions I can’t go and visit her, it’s awful knowing she is in pain and no one can see her. 😢 Thankyou for all the messages last night I had so many like 100s and it took a while but replied to everybody - your all superstars 😊
I wasn’t going to grid today but I wanted to give my amazing mum a shout out, she’ll see this in her hospital bed and it will cheer her up 😊
So let’s see the power of and drop her a message below or even just some flowers emoji 💐
I understand we can’t visit because of rules but it is difficult!
She has been on the frontline for the nhs throughout the pandemic showing strength and passion so I know they will look after her in the best possible way

With last night changes and new restrictions, I thought it was a perfect day to say thank you to all the key workers along with some of my instapals 💙
So I was asked in April to be a sponsor for and with great pride, I am to sell 15 of our wristbands (5 men, 5 women, 5 kids) to help raise fund for their charities. 💙 £5 per wristband

Happy rainbow 🌈 Thursday guys how are we all. I returned back to work this week. After having time off from an accident. I broke my bone in my hand. It's fully healed now and doing great. Today I wanted to praise our NHS 💙 not only do I work for them I also have like many of us been a patient many times. I can't thank them enough for their dedication and commitment care they do an amazing job and I'm proud to be part of that. I'm still selling these awesome wristbands made by they are £5 plus postage and all money raised goes to our NHS 💙 and youth action I've got different sizes swipe right 👉 to see my partner wearing his. Happy Monday guys another week begins and as we head into autumn. We had our last weekend on the paddleboard. Yesterday we headed out in our bongo to mudeford Quay never been before such a beautiful place. We hired a kayak and went out on the paddleborad it was a gorgeous day. Then we went for a walk along the beach watched the boats coming into the Quay and it was that clear we could see the Isle of White beautiful. We then packed our paddleboard away and put away for the winter till next year. Swipe right 👉 to see some of our best bits of using the paddleboard. Also the local kids of mudeford had painted pebbles my favourite was the blue one with the eyes. There were loads of pebbles thanking the NHS 💙

I was kindly gifted this wrist band to raise money for the NHS I have some left and I have kids ones just dm me they are £5 plus postage and the money goes to help our NHS 💙

The way things are going at the moment sadly I think we are heading a second wave which could see us in lockdown so the NHS need all the help they can get right now. I pray for people who are fighting covid and those that lost their fight to this horrible virus.

🤍Anxiety of a nurse 🤍
We’re perceived to be brave, courageous and selfless . Yes we can be all those things all at once at any moment all those elements spring into action.
However the reality of it is what comes after, what comes after the adrenaline and chaos. You go home to your family, you try to switch off from the things you’ve seen but it isn’t always possible.
It’s something that isn’t talked about enough, the mental health of our nurses, health care workers, doctors and paramedics in the nhs. We see trauma, heartbreak things ‘normal’ people would struggle to process that would stop them sleeping at night. But we do it day in day out.
You never become “hard” to the things you see, it never gets easier. In fact each time seems to get harder as the more trauma you see the harder it becomes to actually let go and process.
I have battled with anxiety since I can remember but since being a nurse it has heightened and I’m not ashamed to say it, I wouldn’t be human if these things didn’t effect me.
To my fellow nurses, health care workers , Doctors, paramedics be kind to yourself- we never become numb to the things we see, we need to process it, talk and look after our own minds.
We may be superheroes in one way but we’re certainly not invincible. We’re human and we need to understand trauma is something that needs to be processed and worked on.
Your mental health matters.

We just need a Weekend of just totally chilling out instead of our usual exploring/outdoorsy life one & that’s what’s happening this Weekend! Ollies asked for Movies in Bed & how could I refuse! He’s currently watching the Disney Classic ‘Oliver & Company’ & absolutely loving it & I’m going through my hundreds of photos that I didn’t realise I’d taken this Year & loading them all onto my new 1TB Hard Drive along with the rest of Ollies life over the last 5yrs!
This Photo is definitely one of my favourites & was taken 2 weeks ago at the beautiful . A place we plan on revisiting again very soon because we fell in love with it that much, it was also the first place we visited & got our first Visitor Passport Books stamped & also where we took my Parents along via FaceTime while they were in their House in Cyprus sheltering from one of the many Yellow Heat Warnings they’ve had this Summer! We haven’t been able to see them this year due to Covid so I take them on some of the Trips we do so that they don’t miss out on Ollies Adventures & they absolutely loved as much as we did!
