We know that not everyone has a happy time over Christmas and New Year.

For all kinds of reasons, some of us struggle more with poor mental health at this time of year.

If your mental health gets worse and you need support, please know that help is always available to people who need it in Blackburn with Darwen.

Look out for these bright orange Get Help Now stickers around our borough, signposting people to urgent support.

The eye-catching stickers have a QR code that takes people to the Be Well BwD website with details of all the support available locally and nationally.

Whether someone is experiencing a mental health crisis, issues with substance use, gambling that’s severely affecting their health, or problems with addiction, help is available.

By scanning the Get Help Now QR code, they can find the right support for them.

Our volunteers are trained in MHFA, safeTALK, ASIST, and other supportive approaches.
We are a peer support group, not crisis support.
While we can’t offer crisis advice, we can signpost to appropriate services when needed.

Picture yourself wrapped in warmth as gentle waves of sound from gongs, singing bowls, and chimes ripple through the space melting away stress and restoring deep calm. 🌊💜
And ladies, if you want to join but cannot lie on the floor, you’re still very welcome!
You can sit comfortably on a chair and still enjoy the full relaxing benefits of the sound bath. ✨🪑

Can all ladies attending our Sound Bath tomorrow evening please arrive promptly at 6.45pm at Mill Hill Community Centre.

The sound bath will begin at 7:00pm sharp and cannot be interrupted once it starts.
