✨ Vision Board Night – 17th February ✨
Shad Chefs Women Hub warmly invites you to an evening of creativity, inspiration, and goal-setting! Join us on Tuesday 17th February from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Phoenix Hub, Blackburn for our Vision Board Night.
A vision board is a visual representation of your dreams, goals, and intentions. Using images, words, and colours, you’ll create a board that motivates, inspires, and helps you stay focused on what you want to achieve – a fun and reflective way to plan for the future! ✨
This event is open to all ladies aged 21 and over, and all materials will be provided. Spaces are limited to 12, so booking is essential. Reserve your spot by commenting on this post or emailing us at shadchefswomanhub@gmail.com.
We can’t wait to see your visions come to life! 💛

On 23rd February, Shad Chefs Women Hub turns 3 years old — wow! 🎉
It’s been a journey full of twists and turns, but we’ve stood rooted, proud and strong throughout it all.
We’re incredibly proud to say that all of our volunteers are trained in safeTALK, ASIST, MHFA and more, ensuring the advice and support we give is informed, correct and always practiced safely 🤍
We’ve also taken on events, including monthly Sound Baths and hosting safeTALK training with Dawn Hardman, and we’re excited to keep growing. We’re open to any other event ideas you’d love to see.

✨ wellbeing or self-care sessions
✨ creative workshops (art, writing, crafts)
✨ guest speakers
✨ relaxation or gentle movement
✨ support or sharing circles
✨ themed evenings around confidence, healing or growth

On the 24th, we’ll be holding a small 3-year birthday celebration, and we’d love your ideas on how you’d like to celebrate this milestone with us.
This hub is for you let’s celebrate and shape what comes next together 💛

Last chance to book a space on this amazing course
🚨 Still Limited Places Available – safeTALK Training 🚨
We still have limited spaces available for safeTALK taking place next Wednesday 4th February delivered by the lovely Dawn Hardman
safeTALK is a course that helps you to:
💛 Recognise when someone may be thinking about su***de
💛 Feel more confident starting a supportive conversation
💛 Know how to connect them to the right help and support
🧡
This training also links closely with The Orange Button, a simple but powerful symbol used to show that a space, service, or person is safe to talk to about su***de.
Seeing the Orange Button lets people know they can start a conversation, be listened to without judgement, and be signposted to appropriate support.
📍 Where: St James C of E Primary School, Stopes Brow, Lower Darwen
🕕 Time: 6:00pm – approx. 9:00pm
This training is suitable for anyone who wants to better support others — no previous experience needed.
👉 Booking is essential due to limited places.
📧 Email us at shadchefswomanhub@gmail.com to reserve a space.

I heard a brilliant analogy today that really struck a chord with me 💭💛
We all wear “suits” that make it look like we’re OK and living our best lives 👔😊
But if we could unzip those suits, we’d see how much is really going on inside 🧠💔🌊
That’s why we’re about creating safe spaces for women to unzip that suit 🤍✨
To be real, to be heard, and to be supported just as they are 🤝
