Ribble Valley Meditation Group Meetings held twice each month at the The Sanctuary of Healing at Langho BB6 8AF. Lancs: At the times of the New and Full Moon. We may ask ourselves who are we?

Advanced Meditation for World Goodwill, the Earth and Humanity as a whole. We are all living on this planet at more or less the same time as one another and we have a choice. We either focus on what bonds us together or upon what sets us apart. We may feel that physical existence is all there is or we may wonder whether we have a soul, whether there is a purpose to our existence and what that purpose is. We may ponder about the existence of an afterlife even if all forms of contemporary religion leaves us cold and we may actually question if there is a God. We may also ask ourselves why bad things happen and why there is so much suffering in the world. In search of answers we may find ourselves embarking on a journey. There are many people today making a similar journey and although it may feel as if you are alone on the path, there are many people walking alongside you and they are perhaps searching for the same answers to the same questions. Today the field of alternative spirituality is huge and there are many paths up the mountain towards enlightenment. There is not just one path and sometimes the task which we all face is to find the path which feels intuitively right at that particular point in our lives. The Ribble Valley Meditation Group may or may not be for you. However we do welcome everyone who wishes to attend our meetings; whether you simply want to pop in or attend on a regular basis and all we ask financially is a £5 donation which goes to the Sanctuary of Healing. Our Group is not a religious group in the conventional way but we do see ourselves as a spiritual group. The purpose of the Group is to use meditation as a tool to bring light into the world and we believe that this is a form of service for humanity raising the vibrational level of human consciousness which in turn helps to solve the world’s problems. Our Group does follow a structure and uses materials provided by the Lucis Trust which promotes the works of Alice Bailey and the Tibetan. Friday 4th August. 2023. Now 3 days in the Full moon in Leo.
Leo stands in a unique relationship to the sun at the heart of our solar system. The planetary and systemic alignment established at the festival is a heart/soul alignment. The heart of humanity, the heart of our planet - the spiritual Hierarchy - and the heart of the sun, create a channel which extends to Sirius, that great "star of initiation" within the universe. Sirius has a unique relationship with our planet Earth and through Sirius the pure energy of love flows through the solar centre and into the planetary heart.

This alignment, established at the time of the Leo full Moon, is evocative of the cosmic principal of Love and Freedom, both of which flow through Sirius and Leo into our range of awareness. These two principles are making an increasing impact on human consciousness, affecting all areas of life. As we seek to work with these energies and to co-operate with the spiritual Hierarchy of the planet, the result should be the increasing manifestation in humanity of the principle of love and the freeing of human life from the bo***ge of materialism and all that tends to imprison the human spirit.

The keynote of the disciple in Leo, which we can take into our meditative thought as a seed idea, is: "I am That and That am I".
I am the soul, the relation between the divine aspect of humanity and the material form, the personality on the physical plane.

What we are seeking to do is to carry forward a group endeavor which is of such moment that, at the right time, it could produce, in its growing momentum, such a potent, magnetic impulse that it will reach those Lives Who brood over humanity and our civilisation, and Who work through the Masters of the Wisdom and the assembled Hierarchy. This group endeavor will call forth from Them a responsive and magnetic impulse, which will bring together, through the medium of all the aspiring groups, the overshadowing beneficent Forces. Through the concentrated effort of these groups in the world today (who constitute subjectively One Group) light and inspiration and spiritual revelation can be released in such a flood of power that it will work definite changes in the human consciousness and help to ameliorate conditions in this needy world. It will open men's eyes to the basic realities, which are, as yet, only dimly sensed by the thinking public. Humanity itself must apply the necessary correctives, believing it can do so in the strength of its own sensed wisdom and strength; yet all the time, behind the scenes, stand the grouped world aspirants, working silently, in unison with each other and the Hierarchy, and thus keeping the channel open through which the needed wisdom, strength and love can flow.
