It is a privilege to care for the families we meet in Rainbow Clinic. A pregnancy after a previous loss is a very anxious time. In Rainbow Clinic, we aim to provide support to reduce anxiety and isolation.

We know that we can’t take the anxiety away but we can care and listen.

One of our families shared:

"Would just like to say a huge thank you to the rainbow clinic for the amazing help, support and care you have given me and my family throughout my pregnancy.

Before getting pregnant and during pregnancy I was very anxious due to previous losses but through all the extra appointments and scans at the clinic you really helped to reassure me.

The care I received was second to none and you have no idea just how much you helped me through the pregnancy. I will be eternally grateful for all the support and care you have given me.

Thank you really doesn't seem enough for everything you have done. You do an amazing job and the rainbow clinic really is fantastic for mum's who have been through tragic .

🥳 This year marks a significant milestone for as we celebrate 15 years of providing safe, compassionate, and empowering birth experiences for families in our community. Since opening our doors in 2010, nearly 7,000 babies have been born here — each one a testament to the dedication of our incredible team, the support of the wider maternity team at ELHT and the community that we serve. 🥳

🌏 When Blackburn Birth Centre first opened, ELHT were leading the way nationally with its pioneering model of midwifery-led, woman-centred care, and as the years have passed, we continue to do so, inspiring similar services across the UK and internationally. 🌏

✨️ We are proud of what has been achieved and deeply grateful to everyone — staff, families, and the community — who have been a part of this journey. ✨️

 🎉 This event will be officially opened by the Mayor of Blackburn and will offer a unique opportunity to explore the outstanding services provided by the Birth Centre, whilst celebrating fifteen wonderful years of providing Safe, Personal and Effective care to the families of Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley. 🎉

 🎊 Guests will be able to meet our dedicated team, tour the facilities, and learn more about the compassionate care we provide to families across our community. 🎊
